Compact and lightweight it is perfect for going from rehearsal to the studio and the stage. Connect outputs from outboards into the TX-6, or line-in into the OP-1 field.

The 3.9' stereo cable is terminated with a 3.5mm TRS male connector on one end and two, 3-pin XLR male connectors at the other. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will Zoom see this as an audio source?

A: unfortunately not, this cable is just an adapter for iPhone, it is a generic device, so, it does not show up in zoom as a USB interface.

Q: 2. I can use the VXLR adapter to connect the Rode to Go to my sound Board mixer instead of the VXLR+?

A: The VXLR adapater can be used to connect a Wireless GO receiver to an XLR mic input on a mixer, but you will need to use the VXLR+ to connect a VideoMic GO or Lavalier GO to an XLR mic input. The VideoMic GO and Lavalier GO both require plug-in power and the VXLR+ can convert phantom power from the mixer into plug-in power to safely power the mics. The VXLR adapter will not convert phantom power to plug-in power. A wireless transmitter does not require any power from the mixer to function so you only need to convert the 3.5mm plug on the receiver's output cable to XLR for connection to the mixer's input.

Q: 3. I'd like to use this with the Comica Vimo Q 4, to output four independent channels to a mixer. Would this cable work?

A: The Saramonic SR-C2020 Dual 3.5mm TRS Male to Quad XLR Male Output Cable for Wireless Receivers (23.6") will not work with the Comica Audio Vimo Q Mini 4-Person Wireless Microphone System for Cameras & Smartphones (Black, 2.4 GHz), because the receiver only features a single 3.5mm output connector, and to use the cable, a dual receiver with dual 3.5mm output connectors is required.

Q: 4. If I am wanting to connect a Sennheiser Lavalier 3.5mm directly to my Zoom F3, should I get the VXLR or VXLR+?

A: The Sennheiser lavalier microphone requires a small amount of voltage in order to function, so you will want to use the RODE VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter (B&H # ROVXLRP), which will allow you to use phantom power from the XLR mic input on the Zoom F3 Portable Field Recorder and then convert it to the proper amount of plug-in power that the mic requires. The RODE VXLR 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter (B&H # ROVXLR) will only convert the plug on the microphone from 3.5mm to XLR, but it will not convert phantom power to plug-in power.

Q: 5. can I jam time code to the Deity Tc1? and that get audio with as well with this cable on the sony 7iv in the audio port?

A: No, the Sennheiser CL 35-Y Dual Locking 3.5mm TRS Male to 3.5mm TRS Male Coiled Y-Cable will not work for the application described. Instead, you can use the Deity Microphones C12 Locking Right-Angle 3.5mm TRS to Right-Angle 3.5mm TRS Cable for Mirrorless/DSLR Cameras (B&H # DEDTS0158D64) to jam timecode from the Deity Microphones TC-1 Wireless Timecode Generator Box (B&H # DEDTT0272D80) into the mic input on the Sony a7 IV Mirrorless Camera. Timecode on the TC-1 can be controlled using a smartphone app.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Rode SmartLav+?

A: No as the smartlav+ has a TRRS connection. The VXLR is a TRS to XLR adaptor only.

Q: 7. Hoping this works with a Rode Videomicro which has a male mini jack with two rings?

A: Not a combo I would try. Reason? The VideoMicro is depending on the camera for external power. Not the sort of power it is going to get through the VXLR adapter. You need to think in terms of mics that have their own power.

Q: 8. Can this be used with a diety d3 pro?

A: Yes, you can use the VXLR adapter with the Deity mic.. The VXLR adapter converts 3.5mm TRS to XLR. Since the Deity mic uses a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS cable and you need TRS to TRS, swap out the original mic cable and use a standard stereo aux cable such as the Kopul CMX-RC30 Right-Angle Coiled Stereo Mini Cable - Black, 8 to 30" (B&H # KOCMXRC30B).

Q: 9. Can I use this to send PC audio from the Headphone output to a Speaker system using XLR?

A: The RODE VXLR 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter wouldn't be recommended for use with a laptop headphone jack, as it is intended for a mono mic signal. Instead, a stereo breakout cable such as B&H # HOHMX003Y would be better to use.

Q: 10. Attempting to connect iphone se to Irig Pre to VXLT to Galagy GT-V Trek. Will this work. And can I take the IRIG headphone out and connect to mixer for monitoring/recording? Thanks

A: We are not aware of this working in that case.

[Yes] The most important thing for me when buying was the shielded cable. For a small price it does the job: no interference. Also not too long, not heavy, does not take up space, great design. Happy with the purchase!

[0.215 lb] Needed this to record the out from my OP1F/KOII into my Zoom. Had something I bought off Amazon but it was bulky and stiff and I don't like bulky ugly cables. Looks and feels like an Apple cable, love the low profile, coils up nice and compact, doesn't take up a lot of space.

[Nylon] Great adapter, works as intended, looks good, matches my TE6. Also has a satisfying click when you connect a cable.

[0.215 lb] Use a pair of these for auxiliary sends from our mixer to a press feed and separate audio recorder. High quality construction.

[Nylon] At this point, I'm not getting any noise and the cables are performing as they should. I may be adding some cable management to my desk soon, and I might have power lines running parallel, though I will try to avoid that. I don't recall whether these are shielded or not, so we'll see whether cross-talk happens or not. No complaints!

[0.215 lb] These work great if you have a pocket operator or handheld music device you'd like to hook up to a speaker. Creates less clutter than a 4' straight cable. I'll sit on the couch and play a pocket operator into a speaker I have sitting on the coffee table - works great.

[0.215 lb] No issues. Just needed a bit longer cable for my headphones and works just fine.
