[2.675 lb] Amazing and capable MB in terms of feature set and programming. The BIOS is easy to use, and the CPU compatibility out of the box is superb! Highly recommend!

[Micro-ATX] This is my first AMD build. I built it before I heard about how ASUS was treating customers with the GC and they generally don't care about their customers. The MB does what it should do. Next time I building im going with a company that does care

[128 GB] Solid board. Easy install into my case. If I had one request it would be to make the case pins (power button, HD activity lights, etc...) more like the standard connectors on the board and possibly include an adapter to plug all of those items into that would then ultimately plug into the connector on the board. The pins are so small and the writing is tough to see when the motherboard is in the case. (I know it's the same with all the other brands but I can dream can't I?) Nice board overall. Really satisfied.

[AM5] Everything works well, and compatible with my Ryzen 5 5600G out of the box, no firmware updates needed.

[1x Combo] I haven't built a home computer in over 5 years. My last build was just a couple components to update system. Well now the 10 year computer was showing its age and getting slower by the day. This was a complete build getting rid of all the old except the case which is still nice. Anyway all old out and new in and time to clean case was done in an hour. Installed all drivers and windows and updates in another hour. So in two hours a complete new system. We don't use this for games or for high power games anyway just use to surf internet, documents, pictures, music, and mail. So it is a basic unit but so much faster than the old. Put AMD 4 Ryzen 3400G, EVO plus M.2 hard drive, And DDR4 3000MHZ 8GB X2 memory sticks with this motherboard. The built in graphics of the processor works great for or purpose. No complaints this thing worked so well I ordered second set and rebuilt wives desktop. She is also impressed with the increased speed. Both were simple to build and worked out of the box. Would highly recommend any of these components. B&H was very fast on the shipment.

[BIOS Flashback] I've heard some negative things about ASUS lately, but I've always had a great experience with them, so I stuck with them for my motherboard. Was looking for a solid option for a 7800X3D, so I got the 650+. Installation of the motherboard itself was simple, and installing all the components was simple as well. I like the all black look with the silver heat spreaders. It was nice theres one included for the VRAM and SSD. I had no issues getting it set up, booted perfectly the first time. I think my only complain is it boots really slowly. But I dont really care about that, I only boot my computer up from completely off rarely. I had zero issues getting DOCP to work, and the UI of the BIOS is great. Allows you to make some pretty specific changes on things like voltage.

All in all, I cant complain. Haven't had a single issue. I have heard ASUS has made major changes to their RMA protocols, so I'm cautiously confident if I have an issue, they'll deal with it in a good way in 2024.

Recommended to all, so far I have no reason to give it any less than five stars.

[4x SATA III] The motherboard worked out great upgrading a very old ASUS ESSENTIO. Perfect fit and easy to connect to all the case cabling.

[2.675 lb] The motherboard turned out to be completely compatible with the system I was building. One flaw though is the flimsy I/O shield. The labels of the various ports are extremely difficult to read, being simply etched into the metal without visible contrast. The edges are sharp to the extent the my finger was cut while installing it, and a prong on it appears to have bent so as to block the particular port. MSI does a much better job of labeling.

[2.675 lb] This is a great option for anyone looking to start building or upgrade to AM5.


For it's price point, it features a lot of things that can make your build a fantastic one.


It has really good support for fast DRAM frequency. It has 2 ARGB headers so if you daisy chain all your fans, you don't have to worry about being short on headers to control the RGB. Speaking of which, being an MSI board, MSI Mystic Light is really easy to use.


Upon booting for the first time, you don't have to go on MSI's support website to download the necessary drivers (maybe I'm an old head, but that's how I always did it) as MSI will prompt you to download when you boot. The board itself doesn't look bad either.


My build turned out perfect and way better than my previous AM4 build. For less than $120, I would give it a 5/5 stars for its price point.

[4x SATA III] Works like I expect a motherboard to work, everything works properly and my games run amazingly. The speed on my rig amazes me.
