Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this 4.5 or 2.5 pounds? The specs and the overview page list different info

A: The Neewer LT35 LiteTrip Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with Panoramic Ball Head weighs 2.49 lb / 1.13 kg.

Q: 2. Will it work on a mic stand?

A: If your mic stand has a 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 mount, the Lume Cube Ball Head Camera Mount would be able to mount to it.

Q: 3. I bought the LUME Cube 2.0 and the ball head is included. Is this the same one ?

A: No, according to manufacturer packaging, the mount included in basic package is a simple cold shoe mount that does not have ball mount features (pivoting).

Q: 4. Can the ball head be removed from this tripod?

A: Yes, the ball head on the Neewer LT35 LiteTrip Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with Panoramic Ball Head can be removed. It has a 3/8"-16 female base mount.

Q: 5. Can the metal "cold shoe" damage your camera by being conductive?

A: There are no known instances of this type of accessory damaging the hot shoe. If you notice, the bottom plate has no pin thus no way to touch the flash contacts.

Q: 6. Can the ballhead be removed? And if so, is there a threaded connection point? What size thread?

A: The head is not removeable on the Ulanzi MT-16 Extendable Tripod with Ball Head.

Q: 7. Hi, is blue base part plastic or aluminum? Do it have any plastic parts that carry weights?

A: The Neewer T222 Extendable Camera Monopod with Stand Base is made of plastic and metal.

Q: 8. Would act like a ttl. flash on a Sony a7 ?

A: Unfortunately, I do not quite understand your inquiry. In regards to the Lume Cube Hot Shoe Mount, B&H # LULCHS11, this is simply a flash mount (a ball head with a cold shoe on the bottom of the unit and a 1/4 -20 tripod thread on the top of the ball head). It is designed to allow you to connect the Lume Cube 1500 Lumen Light onto a camera's standard hot shoe. If you are instead inquiring about the Lume Cube 1500 Lumen Light, while the unit may be used as a strobe, it does not have automatic TTL capability.

Q: 9. Can you remove the head?

A: Yes, Neewer TP62 Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with Ball Head comes with a 1/4-20 -3/8-16 short center column That replace the short center column with the build in ball head. Therefore you can connect any other ball heads on the tripod.

Q: 10. Can an Arca Swiss L-bracket be used on the supplied head?

A: An Arca-type L-bracket is compatible with the Neewer TP62 Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod with Ball Head.

[3] I got this to attach my mirrorless camera to a superclamp and then to the 1 iron pipe column of my home brew copy stand. It is ROCK SOLID and easy to align. I bought a 3/8 screw stud to hold it onto the superclamp with a little extra stability. I'm copying prints, slides, and negatives with my macro lens, instead of using a scanner. I could not be happier with the results.

[1.75 lb] I have an A7Rv with some chunky lenses. This tripod handles everything like a champ! I have absolutely no hesitation loading this down with gear.

The Good:
Height!!! This thing goes WAY higher than I need. It's truly laughable; but is still solid.

The Meh:
The ball head works. The is slight sag when you're locking down the angle. But it's no worse (and likely better) than any other tripod with sag issues. I guess if you want to avoid clamping sag, you'll need to spring for a high-end ball head. But the tripod itself is a very decent performer.

The Conclusion:
I think I got this on sale for close to $100 (Maybe $110??). It seems like is constantly on sale.
Around $100, this is a no-brainer. At the listed price of $139, there are a few others that I would consider (3 Legged Things, SmallRig, Benro). I like this Neewer much better than the similar K&F.

It's a good studio-style tripod that's good for anything except long distance hiking. I'm loving it so far.

[Aluminum] Using it as a selfie stick with a Pro Max might not be the best idea but this tripod is great quality. Very well made and not cheap feeling. 10/10

[1.75 lb] I'll probably use this mostly as a small light stand and table top tripod, but it would work well for a vlogging setup too.

[1.75 lb] I wouldn't call myself a huge fan, but it's solid and is great for a cell phone desk tripod. I wouldn't use it with anything heavier than that, but the ball mount is good and it folds down well. With tripods, you get what you pay for, and the MT-16 overdelivers on that front.
