[3.2 lb] Nanuk 935 dismiss any comment: it's solid, well-made, run softly with their nice wheels and have a very confident lock. But their foam could be a real challenge. Even if you have been successfully in the - 3D equip-match-foam-construct-by-our-own, which is very hard! - , eventually will appear some foam-graining, kinda tiny dust, because keep and pick your equipment will produce some wear and tear. Well... that's over. The padded it's a great add-on: I can hold more equipment on my case and, if I upgrade some, no need to buy new foam. Now I can carry 2 cameras, 3 lens, 2 speed lights, 2 radio receiver and a commander, cards, several bateries plus one pan-tilt edelkrone into the same case. Could be more cheap - but still worth every penny.

[Handheld Only] This is exactly what I was looking for to add to my carry on hard sided bag, as I never check my equipment. After a back injury, my back pack wasn't working anymore so I make my own bag in a hard sided wheeled carry on.

[Black] I originally had the pluck foam. It was fine, but felt I needed more flexibility. That's where the dividers came in. It allows me to customize the case for anything. Highly recommend.

[Handheld Only] I purchased my case with the cubed foam - it took my hours to figure out how to cut the foam. Afterwards the case didn't hold enough gear. This insert solved the problem. I can fit twice as much gear in the case.

[3.2 lb] I recently purchased a rolling hard case for my photography equipment, actually two cases. I was not a fan of the foam inserts and began my quest to find an insert that would allow versatility in layout and layers... the Padded Divider for 935 Storm Case was PERFECT!


I love the quality, and the ability to choose or change the layout.

[3.2 lb] Much better the foam insert for the DSLR. Gives us several different options of how we want to organize the lenses and camera bodies.

[Handheld Only] I purchased the padded divider insert for my Nanuk 935 to replace the foam insert that I initially got with the case. The padded inserts are a lot more flexible than the foam and allow you to 'perfect' the fit of items contained within. I was able to neatly fit my C300, charger, 1 battery, the camera top handle, the rotating hand unit, an eyecup, the LCD...basically everything needed to set up and start filming....with additional room left for a 17-55 or short zoom lens. Also, I purchased the A-MoDe Limited Lid Organizer for Nanuk 935 to sort out the C300 audio/video cable, charger cables, and flash cards, etc. I plan to use as an airline carry on, but if I have to check in the case, I feel comfortable about that. I purchased add-on locks to replace the clamps that come with the case.

[Handheld Only] Anything rates better or worse upon comparison.
We are all used to padded dividers be it in camera bags, slingshots, backpacks etc., so even for a case like the Nanuk (which is superb) padded dividers are far better than foam.
Also, once you use the foam insert, the compartments cannot be changed, unlike the padded divider that you can and will alter to your needs.
So whenever buying a case (such as the NANUK 935, which is absolutely gorgeous) opt on the one with padded divider.

[Handheld Only] Really great quality. I love the ability to reconfigure for various gear, unlike the pluck and pull foam. I placed two of the dividers over my BMPCC 4K body and placed the handgrip and accessories on top for added space
