Most cell phones in the US operate in the 800MHZ frequency range. So the risk of any problems with cell phones is pretty much slim to none. Not to mention the protocols are different between cell phones and professional duplex intercom and IFB systems.

We have the same base station and it supports 6 wireless and 1 wired headset. To go above that, I believe you need a second base.We use the headsets at church and they are very reliable. Only issue is that you need to turn the base on first and then put the batteries in the headsets. Otherwise, we had some garbling. Base can run everyone in conference or 2 channels, which is convenient. It's made a major difference for me since I am the Service Producer and need to talk to lights, video and the camera people throughout the service.
