Monitor your 4K or 8K studio or field production with the OBM-U428K 42" HDR 8K LCD Monitor from Postium Korea. With full input support for signals up to 8K60, the OBM-U428K offers 3840 x 2160 display resolution and a 178° viewing angle, with a brightness of 700 cd/m² and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. It features four 12G-SDI inputs, which can be used as single-link inputs for resolutions up to DCI 4K, and quad-link inputs for bringing in 8K. Four 12G-SDI loop outputs allow you to send up to four separate signals to other destinations. An HDMI 2.0 input and two SFP optical inputs provide additional options for bringing in video with embedded audio, and a 3.5mm line input offers analog stereo connectivity. A 3.5mm analog stereo output allows you to monitor sound via optional headphones. The monitor comes with its own power cord.

Q: 4. I have seen that this hyperdeck has a Slot for Optional M.2 PCIe NVMe Card for Cache Recording. ¿How can I install it and where can I buy it?

A: On the bottom of the HyperDeck there is a plate with 6 screws. With the unit turned off and disconnected, remove the screws and plate, insert the M.2 PCIe card, re-attach the screws and plate and you're all set. You can purchase the M.2 PCIe card from just about any computer hardware reseller.

Q: 5. I see this device cannot record multiple cameras at once...so what is this device used for?

A: Unit will only support one unit at a time. Following unit is used for 8K recorder featuring a large display with standard touchscreen deck controls for viewing recordings.

Q: 6. Can this unit by itself function as a switcher for live recording? Does the touchscreen allow for easily switching between recorded inputs?

A: The HyperDeck Extreme is suitable for live production as a master recorder, clip player, for recording ISO cameras, and it works well when paired with Blackmagic Design switchers, but it is not set up to be a switcher on it's own.

Q: 7. Can it rotate the image 90 degrees, or does it just flip the image 180 degrees?

A: The Elvid FieldVision 7" Monitor does not rotate the image 90 degrees but rather flips the image 180 degrees.

A: Yes you can use the Sony BRAVIA XR A90K 42" HDR 4K UHD OLED TV as a computer monitor.

Q: 9. Does it have auto switching powersupply? 110-220v?

A: The Sony BRAVIA XR A90K 42" HDR 4K UHD OLED TV does not have voltage auto-switching. The model that we offer at B&H is only compatible for use in North America.

Q: 10. How do you calibrate this monitor?

A: You will need to purchase a Cr100 or a Calman colorimeter and download the Color calibration software from the TVLogic website. For now the TVLogic software is only available for Windows computers but they plan to add a MacOS version soon.

[2x SFP Slot] Nice to get a product that does what you wanted it to do. I got this FeelWorld 7" monitor to go on my steadicam for field work. I needed a monitor I could not only see outdoors, but one I could also see that was positioned down towards my feet on the rig. This one does the job. 5

[104 ppi] Let me start by saying there is a lot to like about this monitor. The Elvid 7 has become my new favorite on-camera monitor. I swap it back and forth between my RED and my XT3. The build quality is on par with other monitors in this category. It's lightweight but also feels pretty solid. It can take Sony or Canon batteries. I only use the Sony since you get more battery time. It comes with a cold shoe mount, back plates, mini hdmi to hdmi cable, power source and one of my favorite things, the sun hood. This sun hood sets up in seconds and works great. I've had my fair share of sun hoods and this is by far my favorite. It snaps right on and off and works great. The monitor has HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs. It has waveform, histogram, vectorscope, false color, focus peaking zebras, pretty much the expected tools you would want in an on-camera monitor. The menus work fast and are super simple to get through quickly. I have not tried the built in LUTS or user LUTS but it's nice to know that the option is available. I often use this in conjunction with the 5 inch RED monitor and it's nice to be able to have a REC.709 preview while the other monitor is log. This thing is pretty bright on it's own in broad daylight but tossing the sun hood on makes it perfect for outdoor run and gun shooting. In those scenarios this has completely replaced my RED monitor and to be honest I can see this replacing my 5 inch monitor altogether. The image is more crisp, viewing angles seem better and it's brighter. I really like the freeze frame option and the fact that I can have an sdi in and send an hdmi out to another monitor. The zoom function also works way faster than the default RED punch in. It's also an HDR monitor which I look forward to testing out this mode more. I am very pleased with this monitor, I wish I had one for each camera. I received this product in exchange for my honest review. 5
