A: I don't think it would be an issue, it should more or less stay in place without attaching to the shoe.

[Top Handle] I bought two of these for a whale watching trip to BC. The medium size fits perfectly on a DSLR with either 70-200 or 100-400. Ended up only taking one camera body but will keep them in my bag. The covers give good access to controls and secure well to the end of the lens. 5

[Zipper] The Think Tank Photo Emergency Rain Cover (Medium) was so easy to use. The Velcro helped it stay put on the end of my lens in the rain. I was worried the medium size may not fit the Canon RF 100-500mm but was very happy it fit perfectly at any extension. The cover is tough and sewn well. Love all the features! I would highly recommend. 5

[11.0 L] Easy to put on and you still retain access to settings on the camera. I only use occasionally so I didn’t want to spend over $100 for the full version. Love Think Tank products 5

[Top Handle] Last Friday spent all day shooting in the rain. This product worked great. One person used a trash bag, the next day his camera didn't work. Use this product one day and it payed for itself! 5

[Zipper] These are made fairly big so there is lot's of room to manipulate your settings. I purchased the medium and have plenty of room for a 70-300 Fujinon in there, with room to spare. The product is more geared towards shooting from a tripod but it also works well to hide the camera when street shooting. The quality seems optimal, it should last a while. 5
