A: Broken down gear will fit the same as gear in good condition!

Q: 3. does it take a professional DSLR?

A: Yes! I put two Nikon D4's and a D200 with grip in the bag. It is very deep. In addition I have the Nikon Holy Trinity of lenses in the bag with two of the lenses attached to the bodies and the the third detached. This bag holds a ton of gear.

Q: 4. Can this hold a Nikon z9 attached to a z 800mm f6.3 VR S?

A: No the Think Tank Photo Airport International V3.0 Carry On (Black) is not tall enough. The z9 wiht the lens attaches is approxemelty 19 inches. And the case interior is 18.5 inches.

Q: 5. Would this have room for a Canon 600mm?

A: No.

Q: 6. Will the sony fx9 fit inside without breaking it down?

A: The interior of the case is 13.0 x 18.5 x 6.5-7.5" And the camera without protrusions is 5.75 x 5.61 x 9.02". You would need to put the camera on its side and it will be a very snug fit and that is with breaking it down. I would not recommend that case for that setup. This is a better option but you still might need to break it down, Think Tank Photo Airport Security V3.0 Carry On (Black) BH #THAPSECV3 • MFR #730572 https://bhpho.to/33L20mn

Q: 9. Is tipping forward a problem when a laptop is inserted?

A: I have no problem with tipping with a 15 mbp. This may be a little obvious but the lid gets heavy with the laptop in it. Sometimes, in a rush, I forget and just swing it open. This is, of course, user error and nothing wrong with the bag. Unless you have some crazy gaming laptop I believe you'll be fine.

Q: 10. Apple no longer makes the 15 inch Macbook Pro. WIll this case hold the 16 inch version of the Macbook Pro?

A: The main difference between the 15" MBP and 16" MBPs have typically been the screen size (with a thinner bezel) and the main chassis has not increased in size by much. From my understanding and from comparing sizes of the Macbook Pros online, I do not see and problems with it fitting. Dimensions for your consideration: 15" MBP 2019: Height: 0.61"/1.55cm, Width: 13.75"/34.93cm, Depth: 9.48"/24.07cm 16" MBP 2020: Height: 0.64"/1.62cm, Width: 14.09"/35.79cm, Depth: 9.68"/24.59cm

[Shoulder Strap] I own two of these cases. In one I fit a Sony FX6 & Sony A7SIII body with a few lenses. In the other I carry batteries and extra accessories for the cameras. Ruggedly built ..A great internal design & easy to roll around in airports. Most importantly it doesn't look like a camera case..So it blends in with other suitcases. Excellent highly recommend.

[3.865 lb] A very good piece of equipment for caring for my camera gear. It can’t replace a pelican case for fieldwork but is very good otherwise.

[Shoulder Strap] I have 4 Think Tank bags (backpack, roller, shoulder). They are built extremely well so I can't say that any have worn out or needs to be replaced or repaired. Like all travel photographers they get beat up on the journeys and none have ever failed me. Love the built-in locking mechanism added to the new generation of roller bag. Plenty of dividers. A place for everything and in a way I can carry too much. The older you get the less you want to carry but if you need to, this bag seems to have a place for it. It looks like everyone else's roller so it doesn't scream PHOTOGRAPHER so that makes me feel at ease when on the street in a foreign country. Can't go wrong with this bag.

[Shoulder Strap] I previously purchased the smaller version thinking it wouldn't be that heavy.... well it is and you will feel it after walking for 10 minutes through the airport or wherever. This one has wheels and is larger but still fits in majority airplane overhead compartments. I have a 400 f2.8 and this fits just fine along with another camera and 70-200 combo. Added bonus is this bag has security in mind and has two locking mechanisms (TSA approved) for peace of mind.

[3.865 lb] I have traveled with my wildlife photography gears and landscape gears in this well made carryon bag. Couple this with a shoulder bag or a small backpack and you’re covered. Highly recommended to wedding and nature photographers. This bag will last many hundreds thousands miles!!!

[3.865 lb] I needed a bag to take all of my gear to my jobs. I'm not using it for travel at this time.

I just reconfigured the interior to fit (2) camera bodies (Canon R5 and Canon R6) and two lenses, along with (2) AD200s and all of my other stuff.

I was a bit concerned about the weight of the bag but lifting it into and out of my car is no problem. Even fully loaded it's very managable. I think the position of the grips on the exterior as well as the shape of the bag makes it really managable.

The wheels are so amazing and smooth.

I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase!

[3.865 lb] I needed a bag with the same exterior dimensions as my Airport Takeoff V2, but with more interior space. It took a little creative packing, but I was able to fit all my regular gear in this bag. 3 bodies (2 with battery grips), 400mm f2.8, 70-200 f2.8, 24-70 f2.8, and a 16mm fisheye. I appreciate the ability to lock the laptop compartment. The Takeoff was missing that feature. The only negative compared with the Takeoff are the transparent pockets on the inside. They're not as spacious.
