This Sirui Quick Release Baseplate Dual 15mm Rod Clampfrom Sirui Quick Release Baseplate Dual 15mm Rod Clampintegrates an ARRI dovetail plate, an Arca-Swiss plate, and a dual 15mm rod clamp onto a single mounting device for maximum compatibility. Attach rigs up to 33.1 lb onto the baseplate thanks to its multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, screws, and included Arca-Swiss quick release plate. Several locking levers make up the dual locking system to ensure your camera remains secure on the baseplate system. A dual 15mm rod clamp allows you to incorporate rod-based accessories like lens supports or follow focus motors.

A: There are variances with Arca Swiss plate sizes between manufacturers. However, The Smallrig 2143b is an Arca swiss compatible quick release and would work with other Arca swiss compatible plates or adapters like the 3 Legged Thing QR-11.

[Baseplate] Considering its durability, size, and everything its comes with it for roughly $80, its pretty great. Will say, there's been a few hiccups with the tightening nobs when tightening them too much, but aside from that, it's awesome 5

[Aluminum] This was my first lens supporter purchase. I was terrified of ordering the wrong type. I have a huge wedding I am filming this weekend, and I could not afford to choose the wrong item. I am beyond happy with this purchase. The build is very sturdy and impressive. The item also came assembled (to most people putting a few screws in and claps is not a big deal. But I absolutely hate doing it!). So, it was nice that it came assembled! Like I said before. I have never bought / needed a lens rod supporter. I bought the Sirui brand because they make cinema lenses and I had just recently bought a cinema lens (from another brand). Overall, this product is fantastic! Currently the Sirui Universal Quick Release Baseplate with Dual 15mm Rod Clamp Kit is supporting my newly purchased Mitakon Zhongyi 50mm T1 Speedmaster Cine Lens (Canon EF). This Sirui lens supporter is magic!! 5
