[6.61 lb] I'm a first-time drone buyer, long time camera user. I have found the drone to be very easy to use, and a lot of fun to fly. I've had it out several times, and so far I haven't crashed it! I can tell the technology has come a long way since it was first introduced, both in terms of performance and features. I'm still learning how to use the automatic flight features, but I can say that Waypoint Flight produces some very smooth, cinematic movement. The cameras are great. Very sharp images, plenty of data to work with. 4K@30p files are recording 90 mbps. Most of the players on my computer struggle to play that real-time, but Premiere Pro loves it. Digital zoom is junk, and I wish I could just make the option unavailable in the UI. The medium-telephoto 70mm equivalent lens/camera is quite useful, and it looks great with moving shots. Overall, I really haven't had any problems or difficulties. As others have mentioned, you want to have a high power charger if you don't want to wait all day to charge batteries.

[Latch] I love having a medium telephoto lens for that cinematic effect when you pan around a subject. This drone is very easy to fly and the controller makes set up fast, no cellphone to drain your battery. It will film in log and DJI provides a LUT which makes grading a lot easier. It takes a while to learn the intelligent tracking modes, but well worth it. I bought ND filters and a strap for the controller and I think that is a complete set-up. The still photo modes are worth using since now you have a 48 mp raw file which DJI can stitch into a huge photo. The Fly More package is good with a nice bag, extra props and batteries. Only thing you need is a high watt PID charger block to take advantage of quick charging but they don't include one.

[Yes] I gave a 5 star rating even if there's a why but it's so easy to fix and I think Nanuk cases are the best. The why is about the propellers. I know they're easy to remove on the Air 3 but I will certainly not remove them everytime I use it. The drone doesn't fit in with them unless you cut the foam. My guess is that Nanuk cuts on a straight angle and to fit the propellers on top cutting at an angle is better... Or DJI recommand to remove them when storing the drone in a case...? I had to cut for the remote because I have a cover on it so I had to use my knife anyway. Just put a new blade on it and it will be easy. The foam is rigid, easy to trace a line with the knife. And check the colors, the one I chose was half price...

[DJI Air 3 Pro] I was a mini 3 pro user. The most important reason why I bought the Air 3 was that it had a telecamera and longer flight time. The product has great wind resistance. It has good performance in low light. The carry-bag included in the Fly More Combo is excellent. Range is great. I loved Air 3.

[Handle] The stacked sensor technology provides really good low light low noise footage. I think the biggest reason to get this drone is the zoom lense. It's game changing! It's a perspective only the mavic 3 pro gives you right now and I'd personally skip the mini 4 and get this or just get the mavic 3 pro If you have the money

[Latch] I wasn't going to purchase this drone. Nope. HOWEVER, after finding out that it has rear-stacked sensors & waypoints, I did. The two cameras are the very same size as the year-old Mini 3 Pro, and what a difference! They provide complementary camera performance, and post editing is simple as you are getting the very same pixels from both cameras.

The amount of light that is available to the sensors is pretty impressive. Think of leaving the eye doctor after having your eyes dilated. It is easily drawn down in the settings and +/- 0 does work in a lot of circumstances. For this reason, ND filters are highly recommended to keep in your bag. Low-light, Night Mode, really good right out of both cameras.

Speaking of bags, the carry-bag included in the Fly More Combo is excellent. Like the drone, it's compact, light and gets the job done well. This may be the first drone in my fleet that I DON'T keep in a GPC hardcase.

Finally, battery-life is fantastic and the new charging hub is bulky but keeps the batteries safe, clean and will discharge over time to the appropriate levels if not used for a few days/week. It's also a powerbank and has a new feature called Power Accumulation. This will transfer the remaining power of batteries with low power to the battery with the highest remaining power. It's slick on the go.

The new DJI RC 2 is what the DJI RC should have been, but with Occusync 4, I see why they didn't do it a year ago. Range? Penetration? Amazing!

Don't be fooled by sensor sizes, as technology has pretty much made that stat a moot point. I have a Mavic 3 Cine and the Air 3 output is very very close regarding quality. I love my Air 3. Well done DJI!

[DJI Air 3 Pro] I tested the 70mm in low light at the same time with my Mavic 3 pro & the Air 3 was slightly better. Both were up at 215' AGL & about 20' apart at the same time. The flight characteristics of the Air 3 is closer to the Mavic 3 Pro than the Air 2S. I determined with my Mavic 3 pro, that the 70mm would be my favorite camera to shoot with & that makes the Air 3 the perfect match in the field to go with my Mavic 3 Pro. It would be nicer if they allowed my RC Pro to work with the Air 3!

[Latch] Love B & H and love this DJI Air 3. Smooth transaction and the Drone lives up to its name. Thanks.

[Yes] I debated between the Autel and this one… let me save you the pain…. Buy the DJI Air 3. Flies so much better. Stays still in the air when it’s supposed to. And has good color reproduction. The Autel, fails in each of these.
I’m still learning all of what this drone can do and each time I try something new, it just works… that’s what I want… it to work when I need it! I’m very satisfied with this aircraft.
