The ROGETI QRP-116 Quick Release Platefrom ROGETI QRP-116 Quick Release Plateis an Arca-type plate that allows perfect balance for cameras with unusual weight distribution caused by long telephoto lenses. It features a precision numbered scale for easily repeatable setups, and customizable rubber traction pads. The plate has a integrated magnetic coin holder and comes with a coin tool, a 1/4"-20 camera screw, and 3/8"-16 camera screw.

A: Yes this is aluminum

A: While we have not physically tested that exact pairing, that plate is specifically designed for VCT style tripod adapters.

Q: 9. What are the dimensions of this plate?

A: This plate is 5.5 inches long and fits within the Manfrotto 501PL system width wise.

Q: 10. I have a Manfrotto 503HDV head. Will this plate work with it?

A: The Axler QRP-501S Quick-Release Plate (Standard) will work with the Manfrotto 503HDV and most any other Manfrotto head.

[Arca-Type] I ordered one to see if this slightly less costly quick release plate would really fit and function like the Manfrotto plates. I have a 501 head on carbon fibre legs, a 701HDV on aluminum legs, and about 3 577PL quick release adapters. The Axler Qrp-501 mounts and releases the same as the Manfrotto 501PL plates do. So I'll be ordering a few more. 5

[Arca-Type] I lost my Manfrotto base plate and this replacement was cheaper and just as good. It fit perfectly in the 501 5

[Arca-Type] with a normal plate mounted on the XF400 you need some sort of tool to press the battery release button. With this plate that is not an issue because it is not long enough to cover the button. 5
