The ARRI Monitor Arm MAC-1 for Camerafrom ARRI Monitor Arm MAC-1 for Cameraenables you to mount your Camera Control Monitor directly on your ALEXA Mini LF or ALEXA 35 camera. Q: 1. does this work with the JVC GY HM-600?

A: Yes it should. The HM-600 offers an HDMI output which you can connect to this monitor.

Q: 2. Is there a Canon battery plate available?

A: Unfortunately we do not have a Canon battery plate available for this monitor. Keep in mind this kit does come with a Sony NP-F style battery and charger.

Q: 3. Will this bracket work with the SmallHD Indie 7?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 4. Does this unit work with the Canon 40D ?

A: Yes, using composite video instead of HDMI, this should work with a Canon 40D. You will, however, need an RCA coupler (B&H # TEARCAFRCAF) to connect the composite video cable that came with your 40D to the composite video cable that comes with this monitor (both cables are 1/8 male to RCA male).

Q: 5. Does this monitor have a waveform?

A: No, unfortunately while this monitor does have many great features such as false color, peaking and even adjustable color temperature, it does not include waveform. In this price range, if you really want waveform, I would opt for B&H # DEDELVWFORM7, that has waveform.

Q: 6. Will this monitor connect to a 5DIII? If so, what type of cable will it require? Same question for a 7DII. Thank you.

A: Hey Mike, to answer your question. Yes, this will connect to an 5D Mark III. The cable you need is already included. My only advice for you is to buy an additional battery as the monitor does not come with one. You can buy the same battery that the 5D uses and that's a huge plus. Hope this helps. The monitor is great, I've had it for about 2 months and no problems. Just a 5 sec lag when you start up the monitor and camera. So when you have them connected, just let it do it's thing and the image will show up after at least 5 sec.

Q: 7. Would this work with a Canon 1Dx mark II ?

A: Yes the Elvid FieldVision 4KV2 7" On-Camera Monitor will work with the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II DSLR Camera. A: You can use this with the SmallHD 702. This arm offers a 1/4"-20 screw for mounting and the SmallHD 702 offers a 1/4"-20 thread on the sides of the monitor.

[0.375 lb] I use this arm to position a camera for a vision system lab at my desk. The flexibility of the arm allows almost infinite positions of the camera to prototype how I will mount the camera on a machine. I Would definetly recommend to anyone who needs to frequently reposition a camera or light. 5

[0.375 lb] Have been using this arm for the Atomos Shogun the past few weeks. Don't have any complaints thus far. I am not expecting this to last as long as some of the more expensive options but I don't see myself getting any less than 2 solid years out of this. Well made and step above quality wise from the tons of other competitors that put their prices just below this. Worth the buy! 5

[2] I purchased the magic arm primarily for use on a camera slider. I use it for shooting unorthodox angles and it helps to expand my creative possibilities. I love the ease and flexibility of mounting options and the overall sturdiness even at the most obtruse angles. The locking arm feels solid and locks everything in place firmly. I shoot with a DSLR so this arm suits my application perfectly. So far even mounted with a 5D with battery grip, a 70-200mm f/4l i've yet to be concerned about the sturdiness of the rig. I have no complaints so far and it is one of the most versatile and useful tools i have in my weapons cache! I will likely be using this for lighting setups in the near future too. 5

[0.375 lb] This arm is very well-built and has a solid feel to it. It works - and it works well. It's probably not the lightest arm - but it's not like it will be the straw that breaks the camel's back... I have this on an Ikan Tilta universal rig, which is heavy as it is! 5
