A: Yes, the SmallHD Sun Hood for CINE 5/INDIE 5 can fold inwards to make the hood more compact. Please note it will not be completely flat due to the curve of the flaps.

A: Hello Sam, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our sun hood for the Shogun cage was specifically designed for the first edition of our Shogun cage. Q: 5. Will this work with any case on an iPad Air?

A: Yes. I have an iPad Air 2 and it fits ok.

Q: 6. Will this cage/hood combo fit the Smallrig 701 Lite monitor?

A: It will not. This is designed for the SmallHD FOCUS 7 which has a different design from the 701 Lite.

Q: 7. Will this item fit the digital director mini

A: This hood is compatible only with the Digital Director for iPad Air 2 and iPad Air.

Q: 8. Would it fit the Focus 7 Bolt with antennas on the top? Also would it be possible to attach standard SmallHD handles to the cage?

A: We do not believe it will work with the Bolt models. The Antennas are on the top of the monitor and will be blocked by the cage.

Q: 9. Does this fit the Cine 7 line?

A: This cage from Smallrig will only support the SmallHD SmallHD FOCUS 7 Monitor.

Q: 10. Does this work with small rig full cage for bmpcc 6K screen ?

A: This hasn't been tested by us since we have our own rig that we design products for but I would think that it is not compatible because the sunhood is mounted onto a specifically placed screw hole that is within the cold shoe mount that is on the top of the Tiltaing rig.

[9 x 6.2 x 1"] Using this on a SmallHD 702 because the SmallHD sun hood is overpriced, hard to mount, and an overall silly and fragile design. This Hoodman fits the monitor just fine and is much more simple and durable, and can be used on other 7 in monitors as well. 5

[9 x 6.2 x 1"] This is the first review I’ve written and I decided to write it for this particular item. I own a BMPCC4K and do a lot of run and gun filming. Much of that filming take place outside. I’ve always used and external monitor but that can be bulky at times when I want a low profile. But man oh man the BMPCC4K screen is useless outside. It will reflect and it makes it hard to just focus and exposure. I saw this item and decided to give it a shot. It came in the mail, I opened it and placed it on my Tilta Cage. And it was like some kind of magic when I stepped outside to test it out. This thing is amazing! It blocked out pretty much all the sunlight while using it at high noon! Assembly was pretty much sticking it onto the TILTA Sunhood and voilà! It’s easy to put on and take off when necessary. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to use the BMPCC4K screen outdoors. 5
