[1 User] These are well built, pleasant to look through (excellent color accuracy, great sharpness), have good enough eye relief for glasses, and have an ample amount of focus overtravel for those with a prescription who want to use them without glasses on (I'm at about -7.5). I can't personally compare to anything in the same size class, but they definitely outperform the Leica Trinovid HD 10x32 and have comparable build quality. The only downside is the focuser is a little slow. 5

[1 User] Hyper clarity is an apt name for these binoculars. Clear images with no vignetting or chromatic aberration at any focus. The focus knob is a joy to use with 3-1/2 turns from closest focus to infinity. Two features I require are long eye relief and small IPD. It’s hard to find quality 8x42 binoculars with 57 mm IPD. The eyepiece and diopter adjustments are sufficiently stiff to stay put. I think the minimum focus is actually a bit closer than the advertised 2 m. The 8 degree FOV makes it easy to keep track of a flying bird or one jumping about in a tree. The design and materials of this binocular are top quality. The 28 oz weight may be a drawback for some but I find it helps me maintain a steady view. The strap is well cushioned and comfortable. Lens covers, eyecups, and case are all good. The magnetic closure case has no strap of it’s own and no room for accessories. This is not a problem for me. It was a rare clear February night in Portland yesterday and I enjoyed gazing at a waxing crescent moon and Jupiter. My principle use will be birding and I’m looking forward to spring in the PNW. 5

[Download] As a long tim RX user (since RX version 3) and pro video editor who has to solve a bunch of audio issues, I find this invaluable, it is fast, easy, real time and has a low CPU hit. It is almost perfect. So glad I got it, get it and you won't regret it. 5

[1 User] I bought these binoculars because I am so blown away with my Fujinon 10x70 FMT Polaris binoculars that I use for stargazing. When I decided to get 8x42 binoculars I decided to stick with Fujinon because I've already experienced their optical quality. I've been looking through my new Fujinon Hyper Clarity 8x42 binoculars and the quality of the views may be even better than my 10x70 Fujis. What I didn't count on was that these binoculars are also an industrial work of art! They are built of magnesium alloy and optical glass. The only plastic I see are the soft plastic linings on the eyecups and the black armor on the body. The focus knob runs smoother than any binocular I've ever used. Don't be fooled by the dark photos here, the Fuji HCs look much different in person. The metal is an almost bronze/grey color that contrasts well with the black armor. This is a visually striking heirloom item that has top of the line optics. 5
