[Black] I am a multimedia designer and I work in an office building with multiple co-workers surrounding my workspace. I use headphones to do 95% of my audio editing. When I need to review projects with stakeholders in the communal space, I provide them a way to listen without disturbing my surrounding co-workers. I found this little piece of electronic simplicity to distribute my audio signal to multiple headphones. It is about the size of two packs of playing cards. You will need a quarter to quarter or quarter to mini cable to input and each headphone output is quarter as well so make sure you get adapters if you use mini plug headphones. Happy listening!

[Black] I bought this to replace an aging and worn out Behringer H4700. I hate Behringer products with a passion and would normally avoid anything they make, but the 4700 really did deliver. The sound was a bit brittle and the slight 60hz hum was annoying but it served me well for 5 years. When it finally died, I wanted something to replace it and the ART HeadAmpPro6 was the perfect solution. It has all the functionality of the Behringer, plus 2 additional headphone amps and better build quality...so it seems. At $, I was happy to pay a few more dollars for something non-Behringer. My only complaint would be that the aux inputs are on the back side. That means, I either need to wire those rear inputs to points on my patchbay, or crawl around back of the rack to plug in the the necessary patches. I also dislike the bright Blue LEDs on each channel, but that's a minor issue.

[Black] Well worth the money and gives you the gain needed to really enjoy headphones without an amp. I have an amp hooked to my computer but this gives a cleaner signal. Controls are also very linear.

[Black] I've only had it a couple of weeks so I can't comment on reliability, but it provides nice clean gain with a good source. I've used it with three or four different types of headphones and worked well with all of them.

[Black] The Pearstone HBOX-4000 headphone amplifier is an excellent choice for home recording, where it is useful for multiple people to monitor the signal from a digital audio workstation. In my case, I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, which provides one direct-monitor headphone output. The level of the Scarlett's output is too low to be useful. The Pearstone allows me to both split the signal into my headphones and the performer's, as well as raise the level so that it matches the tracks being monitored from the software. In all, this is a very inexpensive solution to a vexing problem. Considering the price, quality, and usefulness of this headphone amp, it is really a no brainer to pick one up, if you're looking to improve the performance and convenience of your home recording workstation.

[Black] Killer quality and sound. It definitely widens the stereo field a bit. The transformer button wont be for everyone. I tried it on the 2 track and didnt like it, but gave it a go on the bass buss and yeah dude big time.

[Black] I purchased this headphone amplifier for my recording studio use. I used Personus HP60 and Behringer HA8000. Both supplied insufficient power to the headphones when musicians play their instruments. This ART amplifier drives Beyerdynamic DT-880-pro-250 well. Knob layouts are well thought and the amplifier can be tweaked �without requiring too much attentions. The circuit diagram, which is printed on the top of the unit, gives a great help.
