A: The four other holes are part of the construction and not mounting points. The base of the Falcam F38 has a single 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 Compatible Thread.

A: The Falcam F38 Camera Quick Release Bundle has a weight support limit of 33lbs.

A: There is only once version of the Falcam F38 Quick Release Bottom Plate, it will arrive as pictured in the 2nd and 3rd images. The first picture an older non-available iteration of the QR system.

[Black] This little chap is a lifesaver, and cannot be bought here in the UK - The good people at B&H arranged to send one over and it works really well with my Peak Design Backpack clip AND the Ulanzi & Coman Tripod, without having to change plates ...Who would have thought such a little thing could give me so much pleasure :-) 5

[Black] Long time PD user here. I have no gripes at all about the PD products I've used over the years. I got the Ulanzi tripod and appreciated the fact that, while initially incompatible with PD plates, Ulanzi came out with plates that worked with both systems. Thoughtful. Now their plates and mounts seem to be universal. Nice. I think both systems are comparable in terms of design and function. The biggest difference is the Ulanzi/Falcam has much less play when attached. It's a noticeably more precise fit, and that's a big plus. I didn't buy based on price, but the Falcam products are a little less expensive overall. 5

[0.055 lb] This arca Swiss plate is compatible with both Falcam Treeroot CF tripod, which is possibly the best travel tripod out there in 2024, and PD v3 capture clip, which is, in my opinion, a better and more secure system than Falcamâs string-mount clip. The best part is that this dual compatible plate fits perfectly on the Falcamâs new versatile 320P ball head, allowing the locking lever to snap all the way forward to secure lock position, which the PD plate and most other arca Swiss plates and L -brackets do not allow for. All the while it also fits perfectly and locks securely on the PD v3 capture clip. This plate along with the new 320p ball head could render L-brackets obsolete because the ball head can easily rotate at all angles, making it easy to adjust for vertical shots. At $12 itâs cheaper and more versatile than the overpriced PD plate. 5

[Aluminum] The F38 system is the most versatile of the capture clips on the market. The backpack strap clipV2 is incredibly sturdy and comfortable to wear unlike V1 and way easier to use/secure than the peak design. The whole F38 system was well designed and has made carrying via neck strap, chest clip (this one), hand strap, and tripod quick clip all viable without changing hardware. 5

[0.055 lb] Add this to my Falccam Baseplate and my camera now slides on and off with the push of a button. If you shoot with a bigger mobile rig, this piece is critical for being about to get your gear set up and torn down quickly. 5

[Black] I love these quick release plates! They allow me to switch between my different tripods, overhead mounts, and various set ups without having to change the base plate. They have saved me so much time. They are also strong and durable, so I don't worry about them holding my camera even when it is high above my head. 5
