The Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 Baseplate for RED KOMODO & KOMODO-Xfrom Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 Baseplate for RED KOMODO & KOMODO-Xcombines with different interchangeable Bright Tangerine riser blocks and dovetail plates for compatibility with multiple different cameras, tripods, and gimbals. The optional riser blocks provide the correct optical height for each camera and can be swapped in as needed.

The LeftField 3 Baseplate Core attaches to any ARRI-standard dovetail or the Bright Tangerine Left Field ARRI-Style Dovetail Plate. Using Bright Tangerine's Open•Up quick release system, it allows you to quickly switch between shoulder rigs, tripods, gimbals, and other camera supports such as the KASBAH shoulder pad. It also features a sliding, locking base that helps achieve optimal balance wherever you mount it.

The Baseplate Core provides front and rear 15mm LWS rod mounts for attaching accessories. Other LeftField components, such as side plates, supports, and grips can be attached to dedicated mounting threads to build up a full cage.

A: No, the Bright Tangerine B4002.1025 will interfere with the 8Sinn Cage for RED Komodo.

Q: 6. What counterweight will work with this?

A: There aren't very many options for using counterweights on the Bright Tangerine Riser Kit for 15mm Baseplate for DJI RS 2/RS 3 and RED KOMODO. It's usually always front heavy and needing weight in the back that can be added with access to a camera cage. Q: 7. would this work with the metabones FD to RF adapter (#MEFDEFRBT1) ?

A: Unfortunately no, the contact pad for the Outrigger Handle and Bright Tangerine does not have an additional contact loop. Check out Alvin's Cables for an affordable solution. Q: 9. do they make a left and right side version of these? only thing holding me back from the BT cage is not knowing if they have an operator side for this panel. i suppose they have that rosette adapter thing that could work. but these look fantastic. just saw one.

A: At this time, the Bright Tangerine Cheese Plate with NATO Clamp for RED KOMODO Camera, is in only this configuration.

[0.725 lb] Favorite, most crucial accessory for Komodo. Can be used with the Outrigger Handle so run/stop can be utilized via a Nucleus-M style system or on-camera by the Camera Operator via Outrigger Handle. Best for gimbal usage to keep things very compact for run/stop capability. Arguably the best piece of kit to have for Komodo users. 5

[ARRI Dovetail] Works great with my V-Raptor s35!! At first it wasn't working for me. After several months of trouble shooting, my brand new RED V-Raptor s35 came with a defective chip. I sent it in and they replaced it. Surprisingly, this seems to be not uncommon from what I can tell from online inquiries. In sum, if it doesn't work for you, it's probably RED..... 5

[0.725 lb] Is it expensive? Yes. It is flawless and perfect? Yes. I just love everything about it. My only maybe SLIGHT complaint, is I wish it had some Rosette mounts in this kit, but I easily added the BT side plate to finish it out! 5

[Baseplate] I bought this for when my Komodo is on a gimbal and I can use my tilta nucleus to run/stop it. I like the fact that in a rush when switching setups I can just mount the outrigger handle on top and use that. Initially I didn't like how it looked/fit but in the end it's just for gimbal use and I think it works good for what it is. Would recommend. 5

[Baseplate] This is the lightweight solution we have all be waiting or for the Red Komodo. Well thought out, perfect placement and most importantly it features helicoil inserts so you know it will last. Keeps the system light and adds nato rails to the sides and top. After trying every komodo cage / rail market on the market, this seems like the best solution overall. 5

[Baseplate] I have this R/S top plate on my Komodo as well as on my V-Raptor. On the Komodo I have the Mutiny Bolt-On V2 Micro record button connected to it, and on the Raptor I would use it to connect my Tilta right side handle with R/S button. Bright Tangerine is marketing this product as a Run/Stop Plate for Red Komodo, but works on the Red V-Raptor as well, without any issues. 5

[0.725 lb] I had originally bought the standard komodo baseplate from Bright Tangerine but realized it only had one screw and would twist on the camera showing off alignment of my matte box etc. This DJI version has tabs that fit into the base of the komodo and prevent twisting. It does cost more but is so much better. 5

[ARRI Dovetail] I love that it doesn't take up the 9 pin port which i use for timecode and i don't need a large expander on the back to add this run/stop port. also it works perfectly! 5
