Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the 22L bag fit in the overhead of a small commuter jet? Some of those compartments are very shallow.

A: Airlines typically have a variety of planes (including various different commuter jet models), so a universal answer would not be possible. However, several users have commented that they were able to fit this backpack under the seat in a normal jet airplane. It would thus seem that you would have a good chance with the overhead commuter jet compartments. We'd recommend contacting the airline you would be using to get the dimensions of those compartments and comparing them to those of this backpack: 18.11 x 13.39 x 5.91" / 46 x 34.01 x 15.01 cm

Q: 2. Could this fit a dslr body with 70-200 attached, spare body, 24-70, 16-35, 35, and a DJI Mavic Pro and 2 extra batteries?

A: Yes, it should be able to fit all this gear. To give you an idea, my Kiboko 22L swallows 500mm f/4, two DSLR bodies with grips attached and 8x42 (a big one) pair of binoculars.

Q: 3. Will this fit a 16" Macbook?

A: Yes, the PGYTECH OneMo Lite Backpack will accommodate a 16inch macbook pro.

Q: 4. will the 22L fit a Nikon Z9?

A: The Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 22L) is too small for the Z9. The 30L version with no laptop sleeve is needed for a pro camera such as the Z9: https://bhpho.to/2pMlzr2

Q: 5. Can the cushion that wraps around your waist be removed?

A: The waistband is removable.

Q: 6. Is there anyway to a pro-size body (1dx) with lens attached, even the body on its side? Does the top have any flexibility?

A: You'd have to have the lens and camera separate for it to fit.

Q: 7. will thw cube hold a Z 9?

A: The Nikon Z9 is too large and won't fit the camera compartment of the MindShift Gear Rotation 180 22L Photo Backpack. The Nikon Z9 will fit in this 34L https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1635838-REG/think_tank_photo_520207_rotation_180_34l_photo.html

Q: 8. Will a Nikon z8 and z7ii with battery grip, 24-120mm, 100-400mm, 600 f6.3 z, 2 teleconverters and batteries fit into the 22l?

A: No, the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 Backpack (Black, 22L) will not fit a Nikon z8 and z7ii with battery grip, 24-120mm, 100-400mm, 600 f6.3 z, 2 teleconverters and batteries.

Q: 9. Is the weight of the upper pack supported by the belt and some kind of frame or does it primarily support the cube?

A: The upper pack is supported by the cross-linked foam on the inside.

Q: 10. Can the backpack straps be stored for travel?

A: Yes, when using the Gura Gear Kiboko 2.0 22L Backpack, one can store the backpack straps for travel.

[Tech Panels] Haven't used in the field yet but I can see that the bag is very well constructed, has easy opening/closing zippers, lots of ways to configure compartments for lenses, bodies, etc. Tripod pocket and water bottle pockets. Definitely can see myself able to travel with gear including MacBook Pro 16 on a plane without a problem.

[Zipper] My equipment: Nikon D500, 500 PF lens, Nikon Z6, 80-400 lens, adaptor, several small lenses, binoculars, etc all fit nicely into this camera bag. Quality, butterfly opening and small zippered storage pockets set this camera bag apart from other camera bags: this unit will serve me for many years.

Note: this new bag is a little different than the bag shown in the video, no side handle, straps do not fold into the back of the bag and laptop slides in from the side. These are of little importance to me but the video should be removed.

[4.135 lb] A very nice backpack. I have one for my Nikon D850 rig and another for my Nikon F6 rig.

[Graphite Gray] Been wanting this bag for a while and decided to jump on it while on sale with $100 off. Plenty of room for me and my wife's gear. Holds my Sigma 150-600 on one side with plenty of space for other things like our lens hoods, our Black Rapid straps and more. We have two Canon DSLR bodies in the other side along with 4 lenses, including a 300mm, also with plenty of space left over for our filters, chargers, batteries, etc. On top of each of the two butterfly closures there is another long zippered flap that opens with pockets inside to hold our cables, disc drives, tools, more filters, cleaning brushes, etc. Laptop pouch on back is nice. THIS IS A BIG BAG!!! It's heavy when loaded down with a laptop and a big zoom lens, but comfortable to wear with all kinds of adjustable straps. Great padding everywhere and comes with more than enough compartment insert pieces and a rain cover. Pricey, but it just may be the last bag you ever buy as far as durability and quality.

[Tech Panels] There are so many backpacks available and it's so hard to choose which one you should buy. A friend has a Bataflae for many years and the first time I saw it I was impressed by it's build quality.
Although the Bataflae is to large for me, so I choose the Kiboko 2.0 22L and when receiving it I was not disappointed at all. The same build quality, light weight, a perfect replacement for my good old LowePro.
Here in Europe it's hard to get your hands on a Gura Gear, but ordering it through B&H I received it in 6 days....perfect!

[Yes] I'm an IT technician and I frequently have to go in the field for assessments, repairs, and installations. The pack fits my laptop, tools, and cables perfectly while looking professional. Probably the best pack I've ever had. Thanks so much =)

[4.135 lb] Needed this for my D500 with 200-500 in one side then my Z6 and Z7 on the other with their lenses. Just love the butterfly opening. Very comfortable for me. Lots of room for accessories. Heavy with what I bring but I am used to it. Can't imagine with a 600mm and the larger 30L. Great bag. I would buy again.

[4.135 lb] Nice, sleek backpack that I can use to carry everything I need at work (laptop, tablet, notebooks, etc.). I appreciate the elegant design, as well as the wide, padded backpack straps that always make the backpack feel very lightweight even when it's stuffed full. However, it is not very spacious. Definitely wouldn't recommend this as a weekend trip/travel backpack.
