The Neewer Camera Cage for Sony FX3 FX30comes with a removable NATO rail and an HDMI cable clamp. It features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads with ARRI locating holes, and it offers a shoe mount. A magnetic screwdriver is provided on the bottom of the cage. Also on the bottom is an integrated Arca-type base for direct attachment to compatible gear.

[Cage] I purchased this cage for my second shooter after she got her Sony FX30. She opted out of the audio handle, so having this worked out perfectly, and I am surprised with how awesome this cage is on shoots. I wish that there were a couple more fastening points, especially with all the places that COULD be used for a tighter fit on the FX3 and FX30, BUT this is still a very solid cage. I am a big fan of Sirui products, and this certainly did not disappoint. SIDE NOTE-- If you wanted this cage mainly for the hand grip and to have a cage, keep in mind that you CAN use this cage WITHOUT the handle and instead use you Sony audio handle. 5

[Aluminum] Really high quality and lightweight. Typically use Smallrig or Tilta and decided to try this for my FX30. Would recommend. Handle is nice as well. Good mounting options 5

[0.52 lb] I was reluctant to cage up my Sony FX3 solely on the basis of keeping my camera as small and lightweight as possible. However, after making this purchase on B&H, I discovered the SmallRig Cage is extremely light and feels the same ergonomically without it. I figured it's a win win- my FX3 is further protected, I can add a side grip handle/strap, additional grip securement on my HDMI port, and, have an additional cold shoe mount for various tools, such as my newly acquired Sennheiser MKH 400. I love this cage! 5

[0.52 lb] The steel grey version makes your FX 3 look like something from the Terminator movie. I like the way it assembled and fit to the camera. I really like the hand strap. The top plate would be good if you did not plan to use your FX3 sound handle. I use that a lot and took off the top piece. The bottom plate mounted to my Manfrotto tripod perfectly but not to all of my tripods. 5

[Aluminum] I am more favorable towards this SmallRig Camera Cage for Sony FX30 and FX3 compared to its predecessor due to a variety of reasons: 1. It enhances the camera's functionality by incorporating additional mounting points on the right side. 2. It also ensures the right-side protection of the camera. 3. The removing of the Rode holder, which was once inconveniently positioned on the top left, is a significant improvement. 4. Finally, from a design perspective, this cage surpasses its predecessor, with a more pleasing aesthetic appeal. 5
