The Benro PU58 Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for Monopodsfrom Benro PU58 Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for Monopodsis a standard snap-in Arca-type quick release plate for use with any virtually any Arca-type compatible quick release set, including the Benro MSDPL46C SupaDupa Carbon Fiber Monopod with Leveling Pan Head. This plate is included with the MSDPL46C and is available here as a spare or replacement part. It features a standard 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw and uses rubberized anti-twist traction strips for stability and protecting the camera body. Dual safety screws prevent the plate from releasing from a clamp prematurely, preventing possible damage.

Q: 4. Will this one fit with the M10? I understand the M10 is a little slimmer.

A: If the camera is slimmer, it might not work. You can tell from the photo that this is a very form fitting plate. Leica was pretty good about keeping this same bottom configuration for as long as they have. Not sure why they made it thinner when it appears to be almost the same as the previous models.

Q: 5. one you loosen the side latch does the plate ift straight up? or do you NEED to slide it forward or back before removing from the base?

A: The SmallRig Quick Release Arca-Type Base and Plate is an Arca Swiss design. Arca Swiss plates will drop in to the quick release.

Q: 6. What is the material? Is it carbon fiber?

A: The Benro GH2F is comprised of aluminum.

Q: 7. What is the diameter of the mounting base?

A: As per Benro, the base diameter is 57mm on the GH2F.

Q: 8. Can I used it like a regular tripod head when not using tele lens or for that I will need an additional ball head?

A: No, the Benro GH2F Folding Gimbal Head with Arca-Type Quick Release Plate cannot be used as a regular tripod head. You would need a separate ball head or pan/tilt head if you want to use the camera without a telephoto lens with a tripod foot or tripod collar attached. The rotating arm can be removed and used separately as an L-bracket for Arca-type compatible tripod heads, but a separate Arca-compatible head would be needed.

Q: 9. I need plate that will fit the RS3 and go from that to a cayer tripod?

A: The small top plate of the DJI RS3 gimbal is Arca Swiss and would work with the Smallrig 2144B Quick release. The bottom plate is Manfrotto and could work with the following Quick Release. Manfrotto 577 Rapid Connect Adapter with Sliding Mounting Plate (501PL) BH #MA577

[0.115 lb] Love this gimbal where it is foldable and more compact for travel. Perfect for video work. It supports my 600mm telephoto well both upright and sideway mounted positions (see photos) on a tripod or monopod. The movement at both axis is smooth and slow that is ideal for video work. 5

[4.75 x 2 x 0.9"] I bought this plate to use it on long lenses when mounting on tripod. Plate doesn't require any tools and can be mounted in seconds. Works very well with long and heavy old Nikon F-mount lenses attached to Nikon Z camera via FTZ adapter. 5

[0.115 lb] This SmallRig Arca-Type quick release plate lets one mount optical systems with either 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 mounting threads. In the case of my Tamron 300mm f2.8, I can even use both for a really secure connection from lens with camera to tripod. If you do not have a quick release plate on every piece of equipment with tripod mounting threads, standardizing on this item will mean that you always have the one you need. 5
