Add a base to your Sony VENICE 2 rig for mounting accessories and bridge plates using this Chrosziel Cine Bridge Sony VENICE 2 Camera Accessoryfrom Chrosziel. This Cine Bridge features two 15mm LWS rods on top and two 19mm Studio rods beneath to mount a variety of accessories. There are ARRI-standard rosettes on either side of the bridge for mounting handles or extensions. There is a dovetail mount on the bottom for mounting onto an optional bridge plate, and threads and screws on top provide rig mounting. There are also threads on the side for mounting optional side plates as part of the larger Cine Bridge kit.

A: The SmallHD Cine 7 Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor with ARRI Control Kit (L-Series) is a cabled solution that would need to be an on camera display when being used. We do have wireless follow focus solutions that would work with many camera models that could be used from a distance.

Q: 2. I'm planning to use this exclusively for Zoom calls. I just need to confirm that I can plug it in via USB (to either my iMac Pro or a USB wall charger), and that the camera will indeed remain powered and not shut off?

A: If you're connecting via USB, once setup with the proper software (Sony Imaging Edge Webcam) and the ZV-1 set to the proper settings (PC Remote), it should work as you need - but please note there are some limitations with that software and some versions of MacOS. [Sony VENICE 2] even though I thought that the pricing is a little on the expensive side I am pleasantly surprised with my new Chrosziel shoulder support for my FX6. I am able to mount the camera in three different positions, the shoulder pad is easy to adjust, comfy and easy to slide back and forth. looks like you can also add a rear rod support which I haven't purchased yet but will def get it 5

[Sony VENICE 2] This is extremely well built, and mine came with an attachment that can replace the VCT wedge in the front and lets you mount a tripod plate (i.e. manfrotto/sachtler or euro plate) and attach directly to the tripod. 5

[5.785 lb] Not much to say. I wanted to use the BSA-1 shoulder pad with the Sony F55, and it works! BH was unable to verify compatibility, so I reached out to Arri directly, and they were able to confirm compatibility. I've since purchased a BPA-5 and a BPS-2 for mounting the camera on a dovetail. If you're using an F55 in 2024, you're using Arri PCA, and you want to modernize your support hardware, this is an outstanding solution. For those who are wondering, this part (as well as the Arri f55 baseplate) are compatible with the Burano as well. 5

[Sony VENICE 2] I bought one of these secondhand, and it was having problems with the connection between handle and extender. I contacted Chrosziel with the problem and had me send it in, along with my FX6 handle. A few days later, I received both pieces back in excellent working order. The extender itself is sturdy, and is quick to deploy with smoooooth action. I like that it's very slimline and doesn't take up much space. As all you fellow FX6 owners know, finding a carry-on friendly case is pretty much impossible if you want to keep your camera built up. Not saying I can because of the extender, but this arm takes up less space in a case than the competition. 5

[Sony VENICE 2] I purchased the 203 version of this follow focus (one generation back) secondhand and immediately I noticed the modern design and solid quality. The thing that sets a professional follow focus apart from the lesser expensive versions is the machining tolerances. Chrosziel manufactures this unit with very low tolerances meaning there are no gaps or wiggle room where there shouldn't be. The gearing mechanism is smooth and performs as expected. The marking discs click into place with a satisfying snap. The knob handle is large enough to firmly grab onto but not overbearingly large. It has a slim profile and fits well into cases etc. Don't skimp on getting a cheap follow focus, it's an integral part of what makes a movie, focus! 5
