This 25 pack of 11 x 17" Hahnemuhle Matt Fibre Duo Inkjet Photo Paper 11x17"provides a warmtone paper with a smooth matt surface with the ability to be printed on both sides. This is a useful feature for portfolios and album creation. Additionally, it a fast drying paper with a weight of 210 gsm and a thickness of 12.6 mil for a good rigidity and consistent flatness.

Also, Matt Fibre Duo 210 is acid free with a calcium carbonate buffer to avoid fading over time.

A: I haven't seen anything on the Hahnemuhle website concerning OBA's being used in the Fine Art Baryta papers, and while I have used this paper an awful lot, I have yet to notice any change in character for the paper. I really like the gamut available. If you're concerned about OBA's, I believe the Hahnemuhle Photo Silk Baryta is OBA free.. Also, I believe the Epson Glossy paper is OBA free - if not gluten free.

Q: 4. A reviewer mentions that this is glossy paper, but is it glossy or more like a semi-gloss?

A: It is a glossy paper but still allows you to see some texture of the paper.

Q: 5. What's the single sided equivalent of this paper? It has more texture than the ultra smooth but less than the standard photo rag. Just wondering because I love this paper but don't need double sided. Thanks!

A: No, the Canon PIXMA G7020 Wireless MegaTank All-in-One Printer is only rated up to 200 gsm, and the Ilford GALERIE Heavyweight Duo Matt Paper (8.5 x 11", 50 Sheets) is 310 gsm. So regardless of thickness, the weight itself won't work.

Q: 7. A client wants to know about this paper's longevity? What can I tell him?

A: As with most good quality fine art inkjet papers, their archival longevity typically exceeds 30 years. In some of Hahnemuhle's products, the lifespan of a print can be upwards of 200 years. While we couldn't find any archival testing results from them on the Matt Fiber Duo, proper use-case will ensure your prints will last many, many years. [2.3 lb] I have been using this paper for years now. For me there is no substitute for this Matt paper. It gives the look I want and is of the highest quality of all the papers I have tried. 5

[Double] I was excited to see that Hahnemuhle had released a matt baryta paper. I have been using it for landscape and outdoor scenes. I have not yet tried it for sunsets and night scenes. I love the extreme sharpness of the prints and how the rich colors just pop. I would still probably use the Photo Rag for indoor portraits but for outdoors this was great. 5

[Double] Pricey, but worth every penny if you need Archival. If Archival or OBA presence isn't critical, the Canson Photographique Matte Baryta is just as good and significantly more affordable. That said, the Hahnemuhle paper is brilliant. It's matte produces rich deep blacks and reproduces sharp details on par with standard Baryta and luster style papers. All without the glare or sheen. 5

[95%] A lot more substantial than the 200 gsm weight would suggest. If you are looking for a matte surface, this is really nice. I may go with this for larger rolls as well. Not quite as white as papers with brighteners, but not cream either. Try a small pack like this one to make sure you like the basic paper tone before committing to large boxes or rolls. 5

[Matte] I was trying to keep my life and inventory simply by just purchasing from B&H Photo Hahnemuhle's German Etching paper. This heavy weight paper is great for deep colors, sharp lines, and for adding a texture to the image. Somehow or other I decided to test Hahnemuhle's Photo Rag paper. This paper is just wonderful for softer edges while also providing rich colors. Depending upon which effect, I now have two wonderful papers to utilize. 5
