A varied and versatile camera support accessory, the lightsaber-inspired Platypod Handle Compact Camera Supportis a vlogging stick, camera riser, and adjustable rig-spine made to get mid-size and mirrorless cameras wherever they need to be. The 6.5" aluminum shaft can either be expanded to 10.5" or collapsed to 3" by removing the middle section. Featuring a 3/8"-16 screw and thread on the top and bottom, respectively, the Handle also has eight 1/4"-20 threaded holes on its stainless steel top as well as an Arca-Type compatible wedge on its bottom, making it compatible with the full spectrum of the Platypod ecosystem along with numerous third-party tripods, ball heads, and more.

[Black] Works great when you need to get very low to the ground. I prefer using the Platypod for ground/water shots instead of my tripod. Note: (1) make sure you order the correct size and (2) you will need to supply your own head unit. 5

[Black] I’m utilizing this in conjunction with the platyball ball head.This set up is just what I was looking for. A little learning curve due to the unique design of the instrument. I’m ultimately using this to stabilize and use with the new LEICA Q3. This is just what I was looking for, and I’m very pleased with the performance and portability this product delivers.Excellent product in my opinion.
