The A2+ Wireless speakers can connect to nearly any Bluetooth source, so you can wirelessly play your favorite apps like TIDAL, Spotify, Pandora, and more. The Bluetooth receiver built into the A2+ Wireless features aptX HD coding for enhanced quality with compatible devices. aptX HD is also backward-compatible with the SBC and AAC codecs, so you can enjoy audio from nearly any Bluetooth-enabled device. Further, the A2+ Wireless has a Bluetooth range of up to 100' with virtually no degradation in audio quality.

These speakers feature acoustic and electrical designs to help provide enhanced bass without using digital signal processing or bass boost circuits.

There's no network to set up or passwords to create; simply plug in or pair your source device and enjoy.

The cabinets, drivers, bass port designs, amplifiers, and crossovers are all tuned together to help create an efficient system that requires less power than passive speakers and a separate integrated amplifier or similar A/V components.

With all the electronics built into the left speaker, it's easy to connect your source device of choice. All the circuit boards for the power and preamp sections are vertically mounted for augmented mechanical shock protection.

The A2+ Wireless speakers use ferrofluid-cooled, silk-dome tweeters with neodymium magnets. The tweeters are engineered to hold up well under high power, and the edge-driven design helps provide smooth response. The aramid-fiber woven-glass composite helps the woofers retain their shape when being driven at high levels.

Both of the A2+ Wireless speakers are magnetically shielded, so you can place them near your display or other sensitive devices.

  • Integrated CSR8670 DAC
  • Output current limiting, thermal over-temperature, and power on/off transient protection
  • RCA and 1/8" inputs provide easy connection to nearly any audio source, including a turntable or TV
  • Variable RCA output for subwoofer connection
  • 0.75" thick MDF cabinets
  • 1/4"-20 threaded brass inserts on the bottom enable attachment to floor stands or wall mounts

Q: 7. I have two receivers/amplifiers, one to power speakers inside and the other to power speakers outside and they are connected so they can play the same music at the same time. I would like to play music on my laptop and/or my tablet and/or an Ipod through this system without having to connect to either amplifier. Also, I'd like to be able to use outside or inside amplifier independently too so someone can be watching TV inside while music plays outside. Question #1 Do my amplifiers need to have a USB connection? Photos show USB connection on back of powered speakers. Question #2 Can the Audioengine be powered by a wall outlet instead of USB and be connected via RCA cables? Question #3 Would I need to buy two Audioengines to be able to use my two amplifiers independently? Just not sure how this all hooks up to achieve what I want to achieve.

A: Answers in order :1. Your Amp does not need a USB connection. If it has an USB connection maybe you could use it to supply power for one Audioengine receiver. It depends of the type of USB connector on the Amp. Check with your Amp. manufacturer. I prefer the to buy another power supply, read answer two.2. Yes, if you use an Audioengine wall adaptor, similar at the one that came with your kit. Audioengine sells that type of adapter as an accesory. You could buy it with this Code B&H # AUUSBPA.3. Yes you need to buy another unit, but only the receiver Code B&H # AUW3R. The reason is because I do not know your audio connection diagram. Maybe with the kit you have and if you operate your audio device in a master/slave situation and all your audio sources are connected to the master and if you select from that to activate the only slave or only the master or both, then you need only the kit you have. You have to connect the Audioengine receiver as a CD player or iPod connected direct by cable. Otherwise you need the last accesory I mentioned lines above and pair both Audioengine receivers to your Audioengine transmitter.NOTE 1 : The Audioengine transmitter should be connected to the source you want to play, like your iPod, notebook, tablet, celullar phone, etc NOTE 2 : English is not my maternal language, I tried my best to make this message to be understandable.

Q: 8. My Yamaha RX-V663 receiver does not have a USB output. What type of USB power adapter do I need to power the Audioengine B1 to be able to use it with my receiver?

A: it plugs into an ac wall outlet for power and then optical or rca input on receiver for the audio output

Q: 9. how many watts is this beats pill xl?

A: Some brands (Beats included) purposefully don't advertise that. Watts don't really matter, as google/the web will tell you if you want to get into it. I can say I didn't really ever expect to own a Beats product because I think they're mostly overhyped and expensive, but I tried a lot of speakers and none of them could deliver loud, low end without distorting like the Pill XL could. (Specifically, I wanted something that could handle my ubass). I agree with a lot of reviews that the overall sound is bass-heavy, but I still think they sound great for playing an ipod, and they are VERY loud. Battery lasts a long time and can charge devices.

Q: 10. Are these compatible with a new 2024 iMac ?

A: Yes, the Harman Kardon SoundSticks 4 Bluetooth Wireless 2.1 Speaker System, B&H #HAHKSNDSTK4W, are compatible with the iMac from 2024.

[< 0.05%] These are high quality speakers featuring a small size, multiple connection options, and very respectable audio quality. The manufacturer packaging is above average, and includes all necessary accessories for a quick setup. Somewhat pricey, but very satisfying overall.

[2-Way] I am very pleased with this purchase. Although I am not not an audiophile expert, the overall sound across all ranges emanating from these small speakers is certainly very satisfying. Please note that the appropriate speaker stands for these speakers is the AUD-DS1. There is a larger speaker stand (AUD-DS2) for Audioengines larger sized speakers.

[5.0] I love the size and power these speakers bring. They sound incredible for their size, and they dont distort at higher levels. Admittedly, they lack in bass, the back tends to get hot with use, and the volume knob is on the back which is a tad disappointing. Overall, I wouldn't want any other speakers. Im sure their A8 sub will compliment them perfectly.

[Bluetooth] Very good speakers for my PC, they are paired with Cambridge DACmagic, and there is certainly a difference in sound from PC audio.

Cons: are that the volume knob/ on switch is on the back.

[5.0] The B&H shopping experience was top notch as usual. I had done a ton of research before deciding upon Audioengine A2+ speakers. The research seems to have paid off. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome the speakers sound right out of the box. Some of the reviews I had read indicated a subwoofer is required to really bring out the speakers. I decided to listen to them for a few days without a subwoofer before adding one to judge for myself. While I found the bass a little flat, I felt that as computer desk speakers, they sounded great. I later added an 8 subwoofer and Holy Cow did that ever make a difference! Now the speakers sparkle accompanied by deep rich bass. I love listening to music at my desk and the Audioengine A2+ speakers (with subwoofer) makes that experience way more pleasurable. I highly recommend the speakers.

[95 dBA] I read extensive reviews about these speakers for use by my iMac computer. So... I took a chance.

When I opened the packaging they arrived in, I knew I was in for a treat. The way these were wrapped and packaged, it was clear that they were of premium quality.

After connecting them to my computer, what a joy. I have a degree in music so I may be a bit more discriminating than some.

They look great, too.

The down side... It's too easy to spend even more time at my computer with the music I love.

[2-Way] I'm very pleased with the Audioengine A2+ speakers. I bought them to use as portable speakers for my laptop computer. I chose the Audioengine A2+ model because I already have their 5+ speakers dedicated to my desktop computer for music and movies and I have experienced them to be of very good sound quality. In addition, they are pleasing to the eye. I would highly recommend Audioengine speakers.

[2-Way] I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again.
