Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How to use these strobes with Lumix cameras?

A: The Neewer Q4 TTL Flash Strobe does not offer a dedicated trigger for Lumix cameras. However, it does have both a radio/RF receiver and an optical receiver built into the unit, meaning this strobe can be triggered by other flashes. You could also manually trigger it with the PocketWizard PlusX 2 Pack on Lumix cameras as long as the camera has a functioning hot shoe.

Q: 2. I have a Phottix Odin Receiver and Canon flash, will this trigger work for that setup ?

A: No, the Godox XProF TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Fujifilm Cameras is not compatible for use with the Phottix Odin TTL Flash Trigger Receiver for Canon. Godox radio wireless transmitters are only compatible for use with Godox flashes/studio strobes or receivers that have Godox's built-in X-wireless 2.4GHz wireless receiver. They are not compatible for use with third-party remote systems. If you need a wireless radio transmitter for use with the Phottix Odin TTL Flash Trigger Receiver for Canon, I would instead recommend the Phottix Odin II TTL Flash Trigger Transmitter for Canon, B&H # PH89074, or the Phottix Odin Lite Flash Trigger Transmitter, B&H # PH89090, for your usage needs.

Q: 3. is This Trigger compatible with Canon 5D mark iv and Canon Flash 470 EX - AI ?

A: No, Neewer QPRO-C TTL Wireless Trigger for Canon is designed to be used with the following flashes and strobes. Bower SFD5400 Bower SFD740 Bower SFD970 Energizer ENF-300 Metz M360 Neewer NW-670 Neewer Q3 Neewer Z1-C Nissin i400 Polaroid PL126PZ Polaroid PL150D Polaroid PL160D Quantum Instruments Qflash TRIO Basic Quantum Instruments Qflash TRIO QF8 RPS Lighting D728AF RPS Lighting DPZ420AF Sunpak DF3000

Q: 4. Can this be powered by ac?

A: The Neewer Q3 200Ws 2.4G TTL Flash Strobe is battery powered only.

Q: 5. Does this work with the Sony A7CII?

A: Yes, the Neewer Q3 TTL Flash Strobe Kit with QPRO-S Trigger for Sony will work with the Sony A7CII.

Q: 6. Will this work with a neewer fc-16? I already own a neewer 750II flash and the transmitter and receiver

A: No, the Neewer Q3 TTL Flash Strobe Kit with QPRO-N Trigger for Nikon does not work with the Neewer fc-16.

Q: 7. Can this trigger save flash settings for quick location / look changes like C1, C2, C3 for camera user settings?

A: Unfortunately, flash settings cannot be stored.

Q: 8. Will this trigger fire a Godox ad600bm? I have three of them and just bought a q3 neewer strobe. The Xpro-c will not fire the q3

A: No, the Neewer QPRO-C TTL Wireless Trigger will only work within the Neewer protocol system.

Q: 9. Will my Canon ST-E3-RT trigger this strobe?

A: No, the Neewer Q4 TTL Flash Strobe supports the Canon system using their camera trigger made for Canon cameras such as the Neewer QPRO-C TTL Wireless Trigger for Canon (B&H # NE66602729).

Q: 10. Will a FujiFilm X100v with the Godox XproF trigger work with canon exII flashes if a fuji receiver is attached the flashes? (not even sure they make the receivers).

A: If there is Fuji receiver, it probably can use Xpro F to trigger the Canon EXII flash. But they do not have Fuji receiver. Right now, they only have a receiver for Canon/Nikon/Sony.

[5] bought one last March, to control my Q4 strobe ( which I really love and since, I have been over using ( my style, 800 phots per hour )).
at one job, my camera fell off a chair and broke the mount. so while waiting on Neewer to replace it, I bought an other one from B&H, cause it is not super expensive.

[Hot Foot] This 400w strobe was such a great value packaged in such a great form factor that I switched from another system. I really like that the Bowens mount is built in, the powerful modeling light, the ease of use, etc. Really glad I made the switch.

[2x AA] This wireless remote control for Neewer speedlights shares the same capability of pricier systems. Easy to set up and use, it works well with in camera sensor iTTL metering. Much more reliable radio remote control than optical systems such as older Nikon speedlights. It will read zoom lens settings and send the data to all of your slave strobes. Neat to hear all of them remotely respond to your lens! But one caveat. Out of the box my QPRO-N was ignoring in camera compensation settings! I emailed Neewer and they sent me the latest firmware update which wasn't even on their website. Worked like a charm. Thus, they earned a full five stars.
