This 16" long cable features a D-Tap connector on one end and a USB-C connector on the other, and it allows you to power a mirrorless camera, laptop, or accessory with a USB-C power input, such as a Canon R5 C or Sony FX3, from a battery or plate with a D-Tap output. The cable supports up to 65W output using a smart PD device.

Since this cable is also a two-way cable, you can also charge your V-mount or Gold mount battery using an optional USB PD fast charger or wall plug. The regulated nylon cable is braided to prevent snags. When powering the Canon R5 C, it is especially useful for the camera to be fully powered to the correct voltage to utilize the 8K60 raw recording function. [Nylon] I purchased this to run a handheld FX3 rig with a gold mount battery. This allowed me to run the camera for a few hours handheld, which was perfect for the project I was on. I've read about other people giving warning about the dummy battery solution since the battery door has to stay open as there's no area for the wire to fit through, which made me look at this option instead. It worked as expected! 5

[1x USB-C Male] Compared to other regulared D Tap to USB C the regulator on this has a much smaller profile. My internal battery didn't drain at all. For more reliable and secure than USB C to USB C. A must have if running an FX3 off external batteries. 5

[0.095 lb] Just used it for the 1st time with my Fx3 (which has awful battery life). Paired with a smallrig 155 v-mount clamped to my tripod, the D-tap connector fit perfectly and the cable is a good length. The camera ran most of the day shooting interviews. I had no idea what to expect in terms of battery life out of the 155...to my surprise it used only 30%, so even a smaller v-mount will probably get me through the day (next time). Happy with my purchase, wished I ordered one sooner. I picked this one, because I didn't want to mess around with dummy batteries, not sure why anyone would go that route when this option is available. 5

[1x D-Tap Male] I originally purchased this to work with my Canon R5C and the Cineback. I have purchased other brands of this converter and the converter box was too big for the excess wire cavity in the Cineback. The Kondor Blue was the first one I could get to fit properly. The USB-C connector fits my HDMI clamp for a secure connection. Some of the other USB-C insolation was so thick that they did not fit clamp. I'm very happy with converter. Also the D-tap glow a faint blue when it has power, nice touch. 5
