Add accessories onto the top of your Sony FX6 using this raven black Kondor Blue Base Rig for Sony FX6 - Raven Blackfrom Kondor Blue. The right top plate is a component of the modular Kondor Blue Camera Cage for Sony FX6 and is designed as a thin strip to mount onto the top right side of the camera. It is compatible with the Center and Left Top plates, AKS Rod Clamp, and the 15mm NATO rail accessory, which are part of the cage system.

The plate is easily mounted and replaced using two captive screws, and it fits snugly to the right of the optional center plate, if required. The plate offers multiple 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist accessory mounts as well as numerous 1/4"-20 accessory threads, and it also features a Sony sensor plane bolt and a NATO rail. There is also an attachment point on the side to mount the optional AKS Rod Clamp and 15mm to NATO rail accessory.

[Raven Black] I own the Panasonic S5IIX mounted in a SmallRig cage with a Kondor Blue top handle (KOKBPBSSDBK). You can't attach the DMWXLR1 (XLR Audio adapter) because it sits too high plus it blocks the Nato rail where the top handle attaches. This small, simple device solves that problem. You will have to remove the cable holder underneath the bottom of the XLR adapter (no big loss). The description says something about a cold shoe mount. This is inaccurate. This extension is a Nato clamp to Nato rail plus the top Nato Rail has an Arri Anti Twist 3/8 screw hole that can be used to attach a top handle with an Arri screw in mount like the ones that are common to Smallrig (SM2165C) . 5

[0.275 lb] I love using this cage with the Kondor Blue v-mount battery plate and monitor mount. I added a small rig side handle to finish it off. It's awesome! 5

[0.275 lb] Solid build, no wiggle. Looks nice and provides the necessary mounting points and stability for a wide variety of scenarios. Works well with the VR lens too- everything is behind the lens, so no obstructions. 5

[0.275 lb] Most cages for the Canon R5 C (and R5) block your path to change the filter in the Canon filter adapter. This cage leaves that path open. It additionally is build very solid and the quality is excellent. 5

[0.275 lb] Excellent piece of hardware. My only criticism is that I wish it was quicker to attach and remove from a camera cage for rebuilds. But that might compromise it's integrity and am ok with that for now. 5

[Raven Black] This inexpensive piece attaches via a 1/4 20” and saves you the need to hold that extra gear. Mounting the cold shoe plate to the side of your camera or gear cage is like having another arm, and saves you from a jumbled mess. For $10, this is a must have for folks who use cold shoe mounts daily. 5

[0.275 lb] Works great for ninja V . The Allen key used to tighten the locks are the same size as the one built in to my small rig cage which is very convenient. There was an older version of this same mount that gets worse reviews this one is fantastic. 5
