Add your own top handle or accessory onto the top of your Sony FX6 using this raven black Kondor Blue Top Plate for Sony FX6 Camera Cage - Raven Blackfrom Kondor Blue. The center plate is a component of the modular Kondor Blue Camera Cage for Sony FX6 and is designed as a thin strip to replace the original FX6 top handle and mount your own accessory.

The plate is easily mounted and replaced using a single captive screw, and it fits snugly between the optional left and right top plates, if required. The plate offers multiple 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist accessory mounts as well as numerous 1/4"-20 accessory threads.

[Raven Black] Solid build, no wiggle. Looks nice and provides the necessary mounting points and stability for a wide variety of scenarios. Works well with the VR lens too- everything is behind the lens, so no obstructions. 5

[Raven Black] I love this cage. Been looking for a cage that would provide me a quick conversion from shooting video to shooting photos. I can go straight from the tripod and just pull the camera out to go hand held with no cage but still maintain the arca Swiss plate to put it on my gimbal then slide back into the cage where it can be in the full right, pop it off the rails with the cage for handheld mode in a snap with a quick release. just overall a great flexible system. Good job Kondor Blue! 5

[0.23 lb] Great cage for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a cage for their Canon R,R6 or R5! The Kondor Blue cage fits my R5 perfectly and allows for almost any mounting configurations neatly and without allot of hassle. The top handle breaks down and builds back up in seconds with the nato rail system. The remote trigger works flawlessly once you set the shutter button to start recording video on a full press. The cage was shipped to South Africa via DHL and I have no complaints there. 5

[0.23 lb] This thing is great! You will need a separate cable for the remote trigger for the eos r. You also will need to change settings on the camera but it does work great with the eos r. 5

[0.23 lb] I decided to go with this one after originally purchasing the non battery grip cage. I really wanted to use my battery grip on my R5 and have two battery in at a time. My only concern here is that it doesn’t seem to allow me to put the clamp because the camera is too long now. It’s a semi big thing for me as I don’t want to be messing up the flimsy micro hdmi on the R5. For that I would give it a 4.5 but there’s no such score. 5

[Raven Black] This top handle extension has helped to re-distribute the Sony monitor on the back of the camera with the option of adding so many more accessories.. It's an extremely useful addition to the Sony FX6. 5

Mounting the cold shoe plate to the side of your camera or gear cage is like having another arm, and saves you from a jumbled mess. [Raven Black] Most cages for the Canon R5 C (and R5) block your path to change the filter in the Canon filter adapter. This cage leaves that path open. It additionally is build very solid and the quality is excellent. 5
