Add accessories onto the top of your Sony FX6 using this raven black Kondor Blue Left Top Plate for Sony FX6 Cage - Raven Blackfrom Kondor Blue. The left top plate is a component of the modular Kondor Blue Camera Cage for Sony FX6 and is designed as a thin strip to mount onto the top left side of the camera. It is compatible with the Center and Right Top plates that are part of the cage system.

The plate is easily mounted and replaced using two captive screws, and it fits snugly to the left of the optional center plate, if required. The plate offers multiple 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist accessory mounts as well as numerous 1/4"-20 accessory threads, and it also features a Sony 8T mount to relocate the monitor and an angled wing to reposition accessories away from the camera. A 4mm wrench stores in the plate.

[0.305 lb] The specs show that the package is 4 long. Why I would care I don't know. The plate itself is very short, 1.95 / 50mm long. If you are planning to add a second screw and mount it in two places, you have exactly 1.37 / 35mm screw center to screw center to mount both. My smallrig universal large cage doesn't have screws that close together on the bottom. Worth measuring. 5

[Raven Black] Great cage for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a cage for their Canon R,R6 or R5! The Kondor Blue cage fits my R5 perfectly and allows for almost any mounting configurations neatly and without allot of hassle. The top handle breaks down and builds back up in seconds with the nato rail system. The remote trigger works flawlessly once you set the shutter button to start recording video on a full press. The cage was shipped to South Africa via DHL and I have no complaints there. 5

[0.305 lb] Most cages for the Canon R5 C (and R5) block your path to change the filter in the Canon filter adapter. This cage leaves that path open. It additionally is build very solid and the quality is excellent. 5

[Raven Black] I decided to go with this one after originally purchasing the non battery grip cage. I really wanted to use my battery grip on my R5 and have two battery in at a time. My only concern here is that it doesn’t seem to allow me to put the clamp because the camera is too long now. It’s a semi big thing for me as I don’t want to be messing up the flimsy micro hdmi on the R5. For that I would give it a 4.5 but there’s no such score. 5

[Raven Black] This inexpensive piece attaches via a 1/4 20” and saves you the need to hold that extra gear. Mounting the cold shoe plate to the side of your camera or gear cage is like having another arm, and saves you from a jumbled mess. For $10, this is a must have for folks who use cold shoe mounts daily. 5
