Designed to fit the Sony a6700, this SmallRig Camera Cage Kit for Sony a6700includes a full cage that protects your device while expanding its mounting capabilities and an HDMI cable clamp. The cage maintains access to camera ports and controls and secures to the camera via 1/4"-20 and M2.5 screws. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI anti-twist threads allow you to mount accessories like articulating arms or the included HDMI cable clamp onto the cage.

The cable clamp attaches to the left side of the cage with an integrated thumbscrew and works to protect the HDMI port connection. One cold shoe mount accommodates an LED fill light or secondary monitor. Attach a compatible side handle using the NATO rail and use the QD socket at the bottom to attach shoulder straps. A built-in Arca-type plate efficiently transitions your camera from handheld to gimbal-mounted shooting with compatible DJI RS series gimbals.

[1x HDMI Clamp] I wondered how this additional grip would work out. It adds a look and feel as if Sony intended it's use. A flawless fit. Great solid construction and finish. Adds just that little extra area for one's pinky if it hangs down with the naked camera body. The flip out portion allowing access to the battery surprised me but I figured it out. Very intelligent indeed. A no brainer addition to the A6700 for sure. 5

[Sony a6700] Maybe I'm misunderstanding the last reviewer when they say they can't access the battery w/o removing the camera or I have a different model but there is a hinged flap that moves out of the way so the battery door can open for battery removal while still in the cage. Really snug fit too. Compact and sleek enough to keep on full time, even while using as a still camera 5

[Cage] Also have a SmallRig cage on a A7rV and, based on that purchase, I got this for the a6700. Helps with the grip and provides added protection for the camera body. 5

[Aluminum, Steel] This camera cage was a great investment. Gives me security knowing my a6700 has an added layer of protection encasing it. The grip feels nice and since it extends a little below the camera it gives my pinky a nice resting place. It still provides easy access to the USB charger, SD card slot, and battery compartment without having to disassemble the cage in any way. I also love how customizable it is with all the different accessory mounts. I appreciate the secure set up for using the micro HDMI without risking breaking the cable. Definitely recommend. 5
