Q: 5. I had thought I could use this to put the A1x on-how can I adapt this stand for that purpose?

A: You may use the Phottix Varos Pro M Multi-Function Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder, B&H # PH87199 to mount a Profoto A1X to any light stand with a 5/8” stud. https://bhpho.to/3cAPGZZ

Q: 6. How do you adapt this to fit a 1/4 inch thread?

A: Being that this light stand has a 5/8” stud on top, you may use the Manfrotto 014-14 Rapid Adapter - 5/8" Stud to 1/4-20" Thread, B&H # MA01414 to convert that stud to a 1/4-20” thread. https://bhpho.to/2kbGGUz

Q: 7. Are these filters an advantage for speech also, or mainly singing? I never see them at speeches - only studios. Although, sometimes there is a foam filter over the mic..

A: This gooseneck filter is invaluable for speaking AND singing. Plosively popping Ps are particularly problemeatic without this piece in place. (Say that out loud and you'll see what I mean.) The foam and fur covers are for moving air surrounding the mic -- the wind outside or drafty interiors. I'm generalizing here, and sometime to super-isolate the mic I'll use both, with the addition of a foam backscreen or gobo. You lose a tiny bit of high end sometimes but there's no substitute for keeping air from blasting into the mic and ruining the sound.

Q: 8. Which Pelican case fits the foam cutout?

A: A case such as the Pelican 1485 Air Case (SKU: PE1485ACWFBK), should be able to fit the FLYCAM Flowline Placid Two-Axis Spring Arm and any packing materials from it. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1244879-REG/pelican_014850_0000_110_1485air_compact_hand_carry_case.html/specs

Q: 9. do they make a left and right side version of these? only thing holding me back from the BT cage is not knowing if they have an operator side for this panel. i suppose they have that rosette adapter thing that could work. but these look fantastic. just saw one.

A: At this time, the Bright Tangerine Cheese Plate with NATO Clamp for RED KOMODO Camera, is in only this configuration.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with 8Sinn Komodo Cage?

A: No, the Bright Tangerine B4002.1025 will interfere with the 8Sinn Cage for RED Komodo.

[0.83 lb] I use these to hold my seamless paper backdrops. They are easy enough to apply and they have enough strength to handle the job. And the price is not bad! Time will tell if rust will become an issue. But I'm very satisfied, so far.

[Red] Great quality! But the tips come off easily and they don't sell replacements so feel free to glue them on the inside.

[Spring] If you need to keep seamless paper from unrolling itself, then this clamp is one way to do the job. It is large, but the end fits inside a paper tube and it holds securely without damaging the paper. Note: It takes some strength to use one-handed.

[Red] Great Clamps!

[Steel] I have many large clamps but sometimes you just need a small 1" ones to hold a cardboard black flag on a small thin stand when a real heavy flag on a C-Stand won't fit on Set.

I knew this clamp size was going to fit to what I wanted on this particular pole size, but when I actually tried it using it for the first time I realized it also won't mark or damage my cardboard, since it's size mostly grabs the stand pole fitting like a glove and very strong on the pole, but yet gently touches the actual flag due to the pole size and circumference.

Got a flag setup that's so light and easy to move around and secured! Very happy.

[0.83 lb] Great clamp, great price, and, as always, a great value from Impact.

[Spring] We all know or have used a clamp at some point. These should be renamed super clamps! They really have a great amount of tension, strong enough to hold strobes (with adequate weight distribution) and can easily increase gains for your forearms as well haha

They work like a clamp but better!

[Spring] Everyone should have spring clamps on hand for shoots. I use them all the time. I tend to use the 2 version the most, but these little 1 clamps come in handy for smaller applications all the time. I like how they can grip a c-stand arm. Having used a bunch of different clamps in my time, I can vouch that these are well made. I prefer steel ones like these over the plastic models personally. And they tend to last longer. These ones from Impact seem to be well made and give a nice strong hold. The plastic protective covers also seem snug and do not come off very easily like some other brands, which is great. Overall these seem like a good product for a great price and do the job intended. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[0.83 lb] The Impact 1 clamp is a well constructed clamp. The rubber is slightly longer, softer and thicker than the typical hardware store clamps that I have a ton of.

In the pics you can see a side by side of this clamp and the hardware store clamp. I started using both for a project and I really didn't beat them up too badly but the hardware store clamps plastic tip cracked and then had to be removed while this clamp still looks pretty good and is holding up well.

There isn't a ton to say about A clamps but I hope this helps. At the end of the day they all do the same thing but these ones should hold up a bit better to abuse than the cheaper hardware store counterparts.
