A: The software that the Ortery PhotoCapture 360 Turntable for Product Photography, Ortery Capture Software does not work with the A7 III.

Q: 6. Does this grip use batteries? If so, is it a proprietary rechargeable or common use batter ie: AAA, AA

A: No Batteries needed.

Q: 7. Will this work with Fuji medium format cameras?

A: This will not work with Fuji. Fuji does not provide an SDK (software developers kit) capable of controlling the camera. Here is a current list of our compatible cameras.

Q: 8. Will this work with an AX-53 camcorder? The AX-53 has a Sony "Multi" input, so I think it should.

Q: 9. Will this rotate standalone without a computer connected? Basically to record objects rotating for video?

A: The PhotoCapture 360M will not rotate standalone. It requires the included software to turn. It does come with the ability to record, compress, edit and save product videos. In video capture mode, the camera and turntable features are synchronized and users can create videos that spin 360, rotate a specific number of degrees or rock back and forth never showing the back of the product. All in one.

Q: 10. Can I use this product with strobes, or do I have to use continuous lighting?

A: Strobes are primarily for creating still images. Yes this item can be used with strobes, but depending on your photographic objective, you may want to stop the table from rotating. If you are trying to achieve a motion blur look in your still images, this item is an excellent creative tool.

We use this in conjunction with the Ortery clothing pad for 360 product shots and videos, and it works seamlessly. Super easy setup and the software is very easy to use. [Soft] We purchased this turntable to shoot a number of both small and medium sized products and it works really well. The customer service is really responsive and helped me trouble shoot and issue while shooting with my Canon 5Ds. Automating the shoot/move/shoot process is great and my favorite feature is the reshoot function which allows you to select a single image in a series to reshoot. The turntable automatically moves to that frames position and gives you a live view to make adjustments and reshoot. 5

[268] Looked at a few less expensive 360 turntable solutions. Decided to go with Ortery and am glad I did. We dont use it every day, but when we do it fires up and gets the job done. Quality hardware. Software works great for taking both stills and 360s. 5
