Utilizing a proprietary injection molding process, Delkin's BLACK SDXC card is designed to be three times stronger than a regular SD card and able to withstand over 45 pounds of impact. This specialized casing makes the card virtually unbreakable, with improved reliability and ruggedness. In addition to being significantly stronger and far less breakable than a standard SD card in bend/pressure tests, the BLACK card is also dust, water, x-ray, and shockproof, and can also withstand temperatures ranging from -13 to 185°F.

Delkin's BLACK SDXC card is built with no write-protect switch or plastic ribs that run in between the contacts on the back in order to enhance reliability and ensure functionality. By removing the write-protect switch, the card will never go into read-only mode, which prevents the card from being written to. If the switch of an SD card accidentally breaks off (regardless if it was in the upward position prior to breaking), the files already written to the card can still be accessed and copied off the card, though new data cannot be written to the card.

Rated Video Speed Class 90 (V90) and utilizing two rows of pins, this Delkin BLACK UHS-II SDXC card boasts recording speeds surpassing 250 MB/s for uninterrupted 8K, 6K, 4K, 3D, HDR, 360°, and high-speed video capture. The card guarantees a minimum sustained write speed of 90 MB/s, allowing for simultaneous multi-file recording and ensuring that data is written swiftly and safely to the card. It is also approved for real-time broadcasting and supports continuous-burst shooting so you can capture rapid-fire raw shots without delay.

Capable of offloading data at speeds reaching up to 300 MB/s, this Delkin BLACK UHS-II SDXC card helps ensure quick and efficient data transfers from card to computer for immediate access to your files and sooner post-production start time. This is ideal for photographers and videographers who need to quickly unload large amounts of data and get back to shooting.

Delkin BLACK memory cards and those with the "48HR" come with a premium 48-hour replacement guarantee in addition to their "lifetime warranty" policy. Delkin will replace any non-working card within 48 hours or less (not including weekends), prior to receiving your non-working card. You can also replace your card over the counter at any authorized Delkin BLACK reseller. To activate your BLACK card's free replacement program and lifetime warranty, simply register your card online with Delkin.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the difference between the cards with the all black labels and the ones with the gold labels? Both are "Black" series.

A: Delkin Devices 64GB BLACK UHS-II SDXC Memory Card is the older version of the gold labels. Both offers same read and write speeds and same warranty.

Q: 2. Is this the same as the Sandisk Extreme Pro? Since Sandisk changed their firmware for the original Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera I am looking for an alternative SD card to shoot RAW.

A: Hi Ayaan, If you are shooting with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema 4K you will want to use our V90 card not the V60 card. Both of those cards are available at B&H. Let us know if you have any other questions we can answer. - ProGrade Digital

Q: 3. Will this work on a Canon 5d IV?

A: Will it work, yes. But since your camera is not UHS-II compliant, using UHS-II is a considerable waste of money.

Q: 4. Is this card good for 8K and 4K video on the Z8 or is there a better card?

A: The Delkin Devices 256GB POWER UHS-II SDXC Memory Card will be fine for 4k video but for 8K this Delkin CF Express card is recommended instead: https://bhpho.to/3Rq0VeB

Q: 5. Would this card be recommended for the Lumix GH5? Or would it be 'overkill'? That is, can the GH5 make full advantage of the capabilities of this card?

A: This is the perfect card for the GH5 and GH5S, it is one of the cameras that we developed this card for. While Panasonic on paper says a V60 can work with their cameras, they only produce a V90 card because it is better suited to handle the video recording capabilities. If you pair this card with the ProGrade Digital USB 3.1 Gen 2 reader you will take full advantage of the fast read speeds to improve your workflow.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the Canon 6D?.. not the mark 2 but the original first one. thanks!

A: My educated guess would be Yes. But best check your camera's handbook (you know, the one that most of us forget to read). Also check out Thom Hogan's review on these cards.

Q: 7. Has anyone tried GH5 recording 422/10bit/ALL-I with this SDXC card? Theoretically it should work, but in real situation does this work?

A: Only had these for a few days, but I've filled two cards using our Panasonic EVA1 with the same/similar 400Mb/s codec and they've been flawless.

Q: 8. Has anyone had experience using this card with a Nikon D850?

A: Hi John, We have tested our cards with the D850 and both the SD V60 and SD V90 cards (all capacities) perform well. Thanks for your interest in ProGrade Digital

Q: 9. Are those cards tested t o work on SONY FX6 ?

A: Technically, yes they could work however I would probably not use them in an FX6. I would either use the CFExpress Type A from Sony, or the UHS-II cards from Sandisk, Angelbird, or Prograde since they have a higher maintained write speed. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1578709-REG/sony_80gb_cfexpress_type_a.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1499806-REG/prograde_digital_pgsd128gbckbh_128gb_uhs_ii_v90_sdxc.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1527888- https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1275619-REG/sandisk_sdsdxpk_064g_ancin_extreme_pro_uhs_ii_64gb.htmlREG/angelbird_avp128sdmk2v90_128gb_av_pro_mk2.html

Q: 10. The 128GB version of this appears to be having problems as per user reviews. Does the 256GB V90 also have any issues?

A: Since the V90 version is brand new, nobody knows of any issues at this time. Looking over the reviews, I would hold off until more information has been ascertained regarding the performance of this brand of cards.

[V90] This is the 3rd Delkin Device 128GB memory card. It's fast as described and I have not experienced any issues using it with my Nikon Z 8 or Nikon Z6iii. I continue to buy Delkin because the build quality and the lifetime warranty. Delkin is definitely recommended.

[256 GB] It's only been a little less than a month and so I can't swear as to how well it will perform for the long haul, but so far, so good. It has lived up to its hype.

However, the warranty that comes with this card is about as good as anyone is likely to get. It's not so much a purchase as it is an investment.

I decided on the Delkin not just because it is guaranteed for life but mainly for its replacement policy. If it fails, it's replaced within forty-eight hours with just a phone call, regardless of where i'm located at the time. And they don't need the failed card before sending it out to me.

In short, there's little time lost and that's fine with me.

For all intensive purposes, we're married for life.

[1] this is the fastest card but also the lowest temperature card! no wonder your R5 is overheating, you are using an inefficient card, this is the best memory card in the world, no question about it, I have used an older Delkin card for 6 years without a glitch ever, and my other cards have all failed at some point or the casing fell apart, worth every dollar.
