The Ocean Way Audio HR3.5 is a single three-way reference speaker and external amplifier system designed to deliver highly accurate studio monitoring for musicians, engineers, and producers at levels up to 120 dB SPL. Based on the highly acclaimed HR4S, the cabinet houses an integrated dual-horn system featuring a 500W 1" HF driver and a 500W 8" MF driver. These are mechanically time aligned with dual 12" LF drivers, serving up a total of 2400W of solid bottom end. Crafted from CNC composite, Ocean Way's geometrically sophisticated waveguide system delivers accurate and detailed imaging across the entire 20 Hz to 20 kHz range. The speaker offers a 100 x 40° horizontal and vertical dispersion with a large sweet spot spanning a wide section of the listening environment.

With a 120 dB peak level, the HR3.5 offers plenty of power for loud mixing sessions and accepts both analog and digital inputs, supporting resolutions up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. The external A-4100 amplifier can be rackmounted, while the speaker can be soffit mounted or used in freestanding mode.

[96 kHz / 24-Bit] I just ordered these on the 22nd December 2021..I was absolutely "Dumbfounded" at the clarity and especially the Bass it produced!!! If you’re considering to purchase these, just do it !! For the price well worth it!☆

[Horn-Loaded] These were my choice after researching and listening to most small studio monitors. The sound on the BX5 D3 is just what i needed, renders true to my mix(the closest of the monitors i tried) the sound is balanced, the power is punchy when mixed at the right frequencies.
As a sound engineer these have become my favorite monitors even for recreational music listening. Totally recommend and 110% recommend buying from B&H.

[96 kHz / 24-Bit] Replaced vintage Altec Lansing Model 8 and was concerned relative to match of the excellent sound quality of the Altec's...however the Polk XT60 speakers deliver superb sound iwith crisp bass and pleasing treble at favorable cost.

[Black] Side by side comparison to ADAM speakers revealed these are the best speakers on the market. They have very clear and big bass. And they have very clear mids and highs. If clarity and low end boom and bass clarity is your thing, then these speakers are the best you will find in the music store. They are better than ADAM Audio speakers in a side by side comparison the rep took me thru, it was close with ADAM being second, but after listening to the EVE SC208s, the ADAMS started to sound just a little more muffled than when I first heard them before hearing the EVE SC208s, and EVE SC208 gave off a big clear, defined, tight bass that was better than ADAM's. Surprisingly the budget Mackie MR8 MK3 kinda came in close third place in all the test. Mackie has bass too and pretty clear mids in the MK3 series only, but EVE's are the best of all on the shelf music store monitors. They are the most expensive tho, so you know why, but you get what you pay for. If you want the monitor with the biggest baddest clearest bass and mids and highs that are not fatiguing at long periods of time, then you will have to pay the cost to be the boss with these.

[20 Hz to 22 kHz] A remarkable value. After trying various settings of the 8 pins, I concluded that they got it right with everything set neutral. Very precise, objective and detailed. Will add the $500 Kali subwoofer to cover the lowest octave.

[Black] I had a pair of BX5a monitors for well over a decade, and they finally kicked the bucket over the course of the past year. These have a slightly fuller and different sound (I'm also just so used to the BX5a's that everything sounds different), but they're close enough that I won't have to change my pipeline in the slightest. They bump, if I could I would dial down the low-mids a SMIDGE, but these are fantastic prosumer and mid-range professional monitors.

[Single Monitor] This is a very large floor standing speaker and it fits well in my media room, sound is full on low bass with rich midrange and high, nothing to complain.
