Enhance your multitasking capabilities with the LG DualUp 28BQ750-C 27.6" HDR Monitor. Designed to provide programmers, content creators, designers, and office workers with a large and highly flexible viewing space, the DualUp stacks two QHD screens atop each other to create a single 2560 x 2880 resolution display with a 16:18 aspect ratio. This vertical design helps to save desk space while offering all the benefits of a dual-monitor setup, such as viewing multiple applications and windows at the same time. Alternatively, you can reduce desktop clutter by using the USB-C port to transfer video, data, and up to 90W of power over a single cable with compatible laptops. A: Yes, this LG 27" SDQHD DualUp IPS Monitor will work to its full potential with mac computers.

Q: 2. Does the KVM work on Chromebooks? I'd like to run a PC and Chromebook in PBP and wonder if the KVM feature is compatible.

Q: 3. How does this differ from the 28BQ780-B model?

A: The only difference between the two is the venue that we get the monitor. The LG DualUp 28MQ780-B 27.6" HDR Monitor is through our consumer side and LG DualUp 28BQ780-B 27.6" HDR Monitor is through commercial. Commercial comes with a 3 year manufacturer warranty.

Q: 4. What is the sharpness like compared to a 3840x2160 4K monitor? More detail or less?

Q: 6. Can you mount this monitor to a third party stand with standard VESA mount?

A: Yes, this monitor can be used with any stand or mount with a 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting hole pattern.

Q: 7. Does this monitor contain its own aspect-ratio-preserving scaler? For example, if I feed it a 4:3 mode (such as 1600 x 1200), will it scale that up to fill the screen width and leave black horizontal bars along the top and bottom to preserve the 4:3 aspect ratio of the content? Asking because I'm seriously considering using this monitor for a video arcade machine, as it's the only semi-suitable high-enough-resolution (for simulating CRT subpixel details such as shadow mask patterns) LCD panel (so lighter weight and less cumbersome than a CRT) in a squarish aspect ratio (needed for retro/vintage video games to avoid massive amounts of wasted screen real estate) and large enough size (24" diagonal needed for an arcade cabinet).

A: The LG DualUp 27.6" HDR Special Monitor has 3 aspect ratio settings. [Full Wide]: Displays the video in widescreen, regardless of the video signal input. [Original]: Displays video according to the aspect ratio of the video signal input. [Just scan]: The aspect ratio is not adjusted from the original.

A: Yes, this LG 27BP85UN-W 27" 4K HDR Monitor will work with a MacBook Air (Early 2015) via a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable.

Q: 10. With the new MacBook Air do I need anything else besides the c cable to get the best performance and results? Thanks

A: All you would need to use the LG 27BN85UN-B 27" 4K HDR Monitor BH #LG27BN85UNB with a computer is a cable with the correct plugs for your system.

[Standby: 0.5 W] The LG DualUp is a great solution if you work across multiple applications/sources, but do not have the desk space or want the hassle of a complex multi-monitor setup. The LG DualUp has proven to be the perfect fit for me. As a single monitor that is sized perfectly for stacking windows, I can arrange a ton of information easily within my field of view. The built-in KVM switch saves me so much time and hassle when working across multiple sources - some of my critical apps are Mac OS and some are Windows. Finally, the included Ergo Stand is easy to setup and keeps my workspace simple and minimal.

[5 ms] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using this monitor for over a week now everyday and it has really changed the way I work. I use the monitors PBP mode to output to the monitor as two separate high resolution monitors. It allows for less back and forth and working with large PDF blueprints has really made it easier to display two sets at the same time than.

[5 ms] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Another quality LG product. The stand is sturdy and has excellent reach, allowing the monitor to be easily positioned above my existing LG monitor or on either side.

The screen quality is excellent and a pleasure to view. Setup is simple and the port options allow for any of my devices to easily connect.

I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to expand their desktop viewing.

[60 Hz] Great form factor. Basically added 2 more monitors but in one package. Nice addition to my ultrawide by adding a display that excels for coding. Also easily displays two video streams stacked at full size. The price is offset by the fact that it includes a monitor arm which would normally run you another $100-200.

[Yes, 2x 7 W] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has the perfect resolution for me, especially as a software developer. I have mine rotated so it's slightly taller than it is wide, but the almost-square shape is unique and perfectly suited to my kind of work. It also has a number of kick-butt features, like a built-in KVM switch (I frequently switch between computers while working), PBP mode, etc. The mount stand is also of high quality and has a professional, sleek finish. Love this product!

[27.6"] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not a gaming monitor - this is for very high resolution creative apps like photo and video editing, and CAD/CAM, etc. I like that is came with a mounting arm. Thus far I am very pleased. This is an excellent monitor for a variety of tasks. I use it every day for the basics, but find it really shines when editing photos or multitasking (plenty of real estate on this screen). It also shines as an entertainment screen. I regularly stream 4k videos and it really looks great. The details are amazing and black levels are good.

[Yes, 2x 7 W] I'm currently using two LG DualUps in a side-by-side configuration and let me just say these monitors have turned me into a productivity monster! I went from a Dell Ultrawide to the dual LG DualUp set-up and I am NEVER looking back. Having four windows across two DualUps is fantastic and makes getting work done so much easier! Oh, and writing/reading code within a window scaling the entire vertical length of the monitor is a joy! This is the monitor for you if you want to get things done!

[IPS-Type LCD] As a developer I like my monitor in portrait mode, but I've always found traditional monitors too narrow for the way I work. The DualUp monitor looked like it would solve that issue. I'm happy to say it meets my needs perfectly. I plan to purchase a 2nd one in the comming weeks. I'll keep one in for coding in, and the 2nd will be used in PBP mode to serve as 2 monitors for my email and other secondary content.

[IPS-Type LCD] I bought this as a display to use while coding, and discovered it's also amazing for YouTube. It's a "Nano-IPS" panel -- which is OK. I use an ultrawide PVA panel as well, and like that contrast better for code. The Nano-IPS is good enough, but it makes the background color too bright for my taste. That's more than made up for by aspect ratio and size. It enables me to see so much code, both vertically and horizontally, that it's a huge productivity improvement. Totally a panel designed for coders and video content creators. The other thing it's great at is YouTube. I'm not a video creator, but just viewing YouTube is better on this panel. The screen aspect ratio puts big, black bars on top and bottom -- which the YouTube web view uses to put controls and closed captions into. This means I can now watch programming tutorial videos with captioning turned on (really helps with accents), and see the screen/code far better. It's a huge improvement for people who use YouTube to consume educational, especially programming, content. If it were gen2 OLED ( like the LG G2 OLED panel ), I would easily say it's the best "work" monitor on the planet. But, it loses some value for being nano-IPS.
