[4.2 lb] This collapsable frame was a fantastic addition to my package. A great alternative to larger rigid frames. If I were to buy another I would likely get the compact model only so that I could travel it more easily. For day to day local work, I have no complaints. 5

[4.2 lb] I bought this frame because I wanted greater control over my lighting. I usually use a light disc (also made by Photoflex), but like this system because you can adjust it in a far more precise way, and also there are various types of cloth available, each giving a different effect. It's a beautifully and simply designed frame - takes seconds to put together or collapse, weighs next to nothing, and is very solid but lightweight. 5

[4.2 lb] I just switched up how I light single and double talent interviews this year. I already had a Chimera 42 inch X 42 inch frame on hand so I ordered a Chimera 5142 1/2 Grid Cloth as the first layer of diffusion on my old school ARRI Fresnel key light. Just in front of that I hang a Chimera 5162 72 inch X 72 inch 1/2 Grid Cloth for additional softening. With a Matthews 4 foot X 4 foot Black Floppy for negative fill, I then add a single back light positioned and flagged for rim and shoulders. Great results for interviews. Chimera has a great crew and offers stellar customer service. Really stoked about this new set up. 5
