Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can you use other microphones with these like a countryman b3 with non locking 3.5mm?

A: Yes, you can upgrade to any Lav (not wired for Sony) wih a 3.5mm connector.

Q: 2. Does it make sense to pair these with a 32bit-float recorder? or rather: do they transmit 32bits to the receiver so a zoom F6 would get the full dynamic range?

A: The 32bit aspect of the Zoom F6 allows for extremely high headroom while recording. This means that regardless of how high or low your audio signal being recorded is, the audio can be turned up or down after the fact to be usable. The type of audio being sent to the F6 does not impact the bit rate of the recorder. It would be a fine pairing in general.

Q: 3. Does it work with Canon XA30? Why no sound recorded when plug to Mic, Input 1 or Input 2 ? Please help.

A: Please email us at provideo@a href= http://bhphoto.com target= _blank bhphoto.com/a so we can properly assist you.

Q: 4. Is the BoomX-U better than BoomX-D?

A: The two systems are similar in that both are wireless microphone systems, but each operates in a different manner. Determining which system is better will depend on your specific needs and the types of strong wireless audio frequencies that are already in use within the location where the system will be used often. The BoomX-U is an analog wireless system which operates within the UHF frequency band between 568 to 579 MHz and offers 48 frequencies to choose from to avoid wireless signal interference. It has an operating range of up to 394'. The built-in rechargeable batteries for the UHF system provide up to 6 hours of operation. The BoomX-D is a digital wireless system which operates within the 2.4 GHz band (2400 to 2483.5 MHz) above the range of radio and TV, but within the range of Wi-Fi signal. Only one other wireless BoomX-D can be used at the same time. It has an operating range of up to 164' and its built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to 5 hours of operation. The advantage of a 2.4 GHz systems is that they can be used in most countries around the world while regulations for UHF frequencies vary. Within the US, the UHF system offers more frequencies to switch between, the ability to use more of the same wireless mic systems, and a longer operating distance between the transmitter and receiver. Q: 5. I'm having trouble finding the manufacturer's website for these. Anybody got a link?

A: https://www.comica-audio.com/

Q: 6. Can the gain of each microphone be adjusted independently by the receiver?

A: Yes. : Dedicated gain buttons on the receiver allow quick and effortless adjustment of the signal level for each microphone independently.

Q: 7. Can you use multiple (+4) SonyECM-AW4 Bluetooth Wireless Microphone System in same room?

A: I have only used one paired set and in such can't answer this question for using 4.However, my advise is to have sender and receiver facing each other for good quality. If the body conceals the microphone set quality deteriorates significantly.Best have it fixed under your dress, but facing the camera/receiver.

Q: 8. Can the gain of each microphone be adjusted independently?

A: Yes, each mic has it's own gain adjustment.

Q: 9. Is it possible to connect Sony ecm aw4 to a android Samsung Galaxy phone camera.

A: For some reason this won't work properly with a Samsung galaxy. It's the phone...works fine with others like Iphone. There are supposedly some cables you can get that go into the charging port, but I have had no luck and have tried various options.

Q: 10. are the batteries replaceable?

A: No, these have built in batteries.

[1] I was using the Line6 relay G10. It worked fine, but this is so much simpler. G10 needed separate power for receiver. The U2 simplifies.

[3.0] Easy to set up and use. Nice carrying case. Sound quality is good for the price. Would be nice if there was an LED light on the top of the receiver so when it's mounted on a DSLR hot shoe you could see from in front of the camera if the mic was working. Also the antennae on the transmitter mic needs to be unfolded so it sticks out a bit and not too easy too hide. Might be able to use it unfolded, but they recommend unfolding it for a better signal. Overall I'm happy with it so far!

[2] Bought these as a backup to my trusty Sennheiser wireless lavs. These matched my expectations and beyond. Super easy to set up, and very clean sounding as well. I will very likely purchase another set of these in the near future.

[1] I purchased the Xvive wireless guitar system based on a number of positive YouTube reviews. I figured for the price that it would be worth it if I could get it to work.

I first tried it by inserting the transmitter into my PRS and the received into my Mesa Boogie amp directly. Worked perfectly. I didn't mess around with selecting a channel so I suppose it just worked with the default selection.

I next plugged the receiver into an overdrive pedal and the pedal was plugged in with a cable to the amp. Again it worked like a charm and there was no noticeable difference compared to using the pedal and amp with a cable.

Later on I did play around with selecting a different channel on the transmitter. It takes a little getting used to, but the device beeps the 1-4 times depending on what channel it's on. You have to set the receiver to the same channel to get the system to work. There is no light to tell you that the two are on the same channel so you just have to keep pressing the channel button to get them to sync.

Anyway, if you don't have a second guitar using the same wireless system it's best just to leave it in channel 1 and leave it alone. It will work well.

While playing I moved around the house and it definitely has great range. It was fun moving into different parts of the house without worrying about getting tangled up in a long guitar cable.
