[Wireless Mouse] I had a Mac Mini M1 that worked great for me. After moving to thunderbolt 4 drives, I needed more thunderbolt ports that the M2 Pro offers over the base models. The M2 Pro works great and fills my needs. Highly recommend.

[5.3] Seems about double speed of M1 (MacMini). Also enjoy the keyboard with touch ID: saves so much time not typing in password, and not as interrupting.

[1280 W with IEC] Upgrade from late 2015 iMac 27, noticeable speed difference. Nice compact machine.

[Integrated] Extremely fast and efficient. I do a lot of graphics and photography, both video and stills and love the speed of this machine.
A little on the costly side, but you get what you pay for and this Mac Pro is worth it. Cost offset by increased speed of production.

[64 GB] First time buyer from B&H: the price was right and the purchasing and shipping experience easy and professional. Very-well packaged for shipment safety. I would definitely buy from B&H again. [4 TB] Delivered on time, works pretty

[Mid 2023] nice computer, a replacement for a 7 year old I Mac that died. just starting to use it but seems very fast.

[64 GB] When Microsoft banned computer hardware that didn't have the TPM chip and therefore would not run Windows 11, I said, That's it. Fool me once Microsoft. shame on you... What's to stop Microsoft from doing this again in the future? I began looking at alternatives and decided that running Windows 11 as a Virtual Machine (VM) inside a product called Parallels Desktop on a Mac was the way to go. I'm one who always assembled his own PC's and keeping my budget at $1000 for the box (no new monitor, keyboard, mouse, external devices) BUT, if I was going to run Windows 11 inside of my new Mac, the Mac had better be on the robust end of the spectrum. My former Macs have always had 8 to 16GB of RAM which was adequate for my usage. But since Windows 11 doesn't thrive until reaching 16GB, I decided that 32GB should be fine with this new Mac (it's perfect)

Next, storage. VM's require a lot of storage space. I'm running a Windows 11 VM, Mac Sonoma (this is an additional Mac VM) and a Linux VM. My Mac now has 850GB free on a 2TB drive. Yes, get the 2TB storage! I have no storage insecurity which counts for a lot. Perhaps I'll try moving the VM's to external storage someday but I don't have resources for trying experiments now - using RAID arrays, etc.


So now I have an expensive Mac (it's all relative, I know). I justify it by saying that I was going to have to buy my $1000 Windows box anyway plus I wanted the new Mac silicon. Installing Parallels Desktop and the Windows 11 VM is mostly an automated experience. Everything is fast.

[1280 W with IEC] If you need to rip a lot of music for iTunes/Apple Music, you need a local host to store your files, either a PC or Mac. You can't use an iPad or iPhone to do so. I chose the Mac Mini for my wife's music library because it was reasonably priced compared to replacing her comparably configured MacBook Air and she only travels with her iPad.

[4 TB] I picked up a 2023 M2 Pro Mac Mini 16G / 1 TB. I have been on Mac for what seems forever. I am moving from an 3.2 core i7 2018 Mac mini.

First...free overnight shipping with signature. Perfect.... computer is not going to a porch pirate.

The machine is awesome. I expect to hold on to this for several years. I perfect this form factor over the Mac Studio. This machine is so fast. it boots in about 15 seconds. The Apple Logo and progress bar at boot time, barely spend any time on screen before the desktop appears and the machine is up and running.

There is nothing holding this Mac back. I am really pleased with it.
