[Wall Mount] I bought two of these. They have a lot of nice features and are easily set up. I got one hung and it worked perfectly, although for our stage it was a pretty wide wash. We may put barn doors on it. We have about a 24’ throw from that position.

For the other light, we accidentally put it through an abuse test. It got dropped from a 12’ height onto a concrete floor. The lens broke into several pieces and a two inch chunk of the metal case broke off. Amazingly enough, we put in the second lens and it worked fine. No LED or circuitry failure. Very tough little light. We are going to use it until it chooses to fail.

[7.4 x 5 x 2.9"] Quick setup with HomeKit, bright and easy to use. Not diffused so individual lights may be seen if you have reflective surfaces nearby.

[Wall Mount] So much better than Wemo. Thread works great. HomeKit set up has been flawless. Automations function as they should.

[Apple HomeKit] Love what it does, when once your done with getting the system
properly configured.


Documentation is limited, but plenty of videos exists on SoundSwitch
site and Utube. Please watch all before starting.


Be patient with support from New Zealand via email. Their support
staff is top notch. If they have to look at your system over the internet they will to correct setup problems. May require more than
one view.


Watching support configure setup problem I say the following.

Personally I added them to Apple Home via an Apple TV and working flawlessly.

[Yes] I've had this for a few months now and it's been an absolute treat, not only can I control almost every smart device in my house I also have the ability to display some of our art for everyone to see. It's definitely a conversation piece.

[0.77 lb] Ordering and Shipping - B&H Photo shipped the product on time and it arrive undamaged and well protected in the box.

Product - The Eve Energy Outlet arrived in new condition in unopened retail packaging. The package includes the outlet, faceplate, and wire nuts for installation.

Installation - You will need a neutral wire in order to successfully install the Eve Energy Outlet. The device itself is thicker than a regular outlet, so a shallow electrical box won't work. A regular or deep electrical box is best. Follow the included instructions and you should not have any problems.

Setup - After the Eve Energy Outlet is installed and power has been turned back on, the device can be paired in the normal way for your home automation system. I'm using Apple Home, and the pairing through the Apple Home app is as simple as taking a picture of the pairing QR code.

The device is initially created as a group of two outlets in Apple Home. Turning the device on / off changes the state of both outlets. You will need to ungroup the device in Apple Home if you want to control each outlet individually.

The buttons on the front can also be used to manually turn the outlets on / off. They are somewhat small and will be very difficult to press when both outlets have something plugged into them.

The Eve Energy Outlet responds very quickly to requests in the Apple Home app to turn the individual outllets on / off. It has never dropped out of the Apple Home system, and it reconnects quickly after power outages.

Speaking of power outages, each plug in the outlet will return to its prior on/off state after a power interruption.

Overall - This is an excellent smart outlet with solid build quality, quick response times, and a straightforward / easy installation process.

[120 VAC] This was the easiest and quickest setup. Very simple to use. Great Matter item and love Eve takes Privacy very serious!! To top it is to get it from B&H with the speed they process and ship your order!!!
