[2x HDMI Output] Seems about double speed of M1 (MacMini). Also enjoy the keyboard with touch ID: saves so much time not typing in password, and not as interrupting.

[128 GB] Extremely fast and efficient. I do a lot of graphics and photography, both video and stills and love the speed of this machine.
A little on the costly side, but you get what you pay for and this Mac Pro is worth it. Cost offset by increased speed of production.

[1280 W with IEC] A total step up from my 2020 iMac 27 inch desktop computer. The M2 Pro Mini is easy to set up and compact enough to fit on my desk. It's sleek in design and very fast!

[Integrated] I had a Mac Mini M1 that worked great for me. After moving to thunderbolt 4 drives, I needed more thunderbolt ports that the M2 Pro offers over the base models. The M2 Pro works great and fills my needs. Highly recommend.

[4 TB] When Microsoft banned computer hardware that didn't have the TPM chip and therefore would not run Windows 11, I said, That's it. Fool me once Microsoft. shame on you... What's to stop Microsoft from doing this again in the future? I began looking at alternatives and decided that running Windows 11 as a Virtual Machine (VM) inside a product called Parallels Desktop on a Mac was the way to go. I'm one who always assembled his own PC's and keeping my budget at $1000 for the box (no new monitor, keyboard, mouse, external devices) BUT, if I was going to run Windows 11 inside of my new Mac, the Mac had better be on the robust end of the spectrum. My former Macs have always had 8 to 16GB of RAM which was adequate for my usage. But since Windows 11 doesn't thrive until reaching 16GB, I decided that 32GB should be fine with this new Mac (it's perfect)

Next, storage. VM's require a lot of storage space. I'm running a Windows 11 VM, Mac Sonoma (this is an additional Mac VM) and a Linux VM. My Mac now has 850GB free on a 2TB drive. Yes, get the 2TB storage! I have no storage insecurity which counts for a lot. Perhaps I'll try moving the VM's to external storage someday but I don't have resources for trying experiments now - using RAID arrays, etc.


So now I have an expensive Mac (it's all relative, I know). I justify it by saying that I was going to have to buy my $1000 Windows box anyway plus I wanted the new Mac silicon. Installing Parallels Desktop and the Windows 11 VM is mostly an automated experience. Everything is fast.

Apple's tight integration with a safe and secure cloud, and an advanced operating system with strong safety and security attributes make it the best overall consumer home computer for most levels of users.

[Wireless Mouse] This is a very powerful Mac mini pro. 12 CPU, 19 GPU Cores, 32G, 1TB SSD GbE model. This high end version is snappier than the 10 core model that I have.
It will do anything that I have thrown at it and is not noticeably slower than an M3 Max, laptop, in day-to-day operations. Highly recommended.

[Mid 2023] If you need to rip a lot of music for iTunes/Apple Music, you need a local host to store your files, either a PC or Mac. You can't use an iPad or iPhone to do so. I chose the Mac Mini for my wife's music library because it was reasonably priced compared to replacing her comparably configured MacBook Air and she only travels with her iPad.

[Integrated] Upgrade from late 2015 iMac 27, noticeable speed difference. Nice compact machine.
