The SMX-30's stereo capsules are broadcast quality and will give you excellent frequency response from 40Hz-20kHz. This is more than sufficient to capture all the detail of a symphony orchestra and will give you a full, natural sounding recording. To get the best performance out of the microphone, engage the +20dB boost switch and turn down your cameras volume so that your cameras audio meters peak at -12dB or slightly higher. Also, make sure to leave the low cut filter switch of the SMX-30 in the OFF position. Of course, make sure the mic is in STEREO mode.

Q: 2. are you able to tilt the microphone up or down at all?

A: No -the microphone is in a fixed positon when mounted on a bracket or in the camera's shoe.

Q: 3. Does this camera also function as a speaker? Is the mesh on the front actually a speaker cover? Also, does Logitech provide their own software drivers for Windows 10 or does the camera use basic drivers that come with Windows?

Comfortable to wear for long periods, audio quality is solid, has a USB-C connection and thus pairs well with all modern MacBook computers (which only have USB-C ports, not USB-A). This headset provides sound to both ears as opposed to just one. It is ideal for settings where you want to block out background noise and other distractions. [1x USB-C] I love the product. I hunted through the packaging for two hours until I found the cleverly concealed USB piece for my computer (it is tucked into a tiny pocket inside the zipper of the carrying pouch, with no hint, documentation, or diagram provided)! Fortunately it was a day when B&H was closed so I got desperate and dug through every nook and cranny in detail, so I did find it. Great product. Online docs work great, once you find all the product parts! 5

[2] Purchased this as a gift for my wife since she works from home, and was tired of the corded Jabra headset. First fully charged day she said it lasted through her 8hr shift and could walk to the kitchen from her office which it upstairs without any dropouts. Clear voice since I did call to hear how it sounds, and headset audio I was told was great. Comfortable enough to wear all day. Got the Ms-Teams version everything was plug-n-play using an Lenovo Win-10 laptop. 5

[Closed-Back] so I upgraded from 75 evlove to this. Best investment I made. This has an app where you can change how you hear your surroundings and tweak the sound. Very comfortable on head and ear if your gonna work 8 hour plus , then this is a great pick up for you. I charge it every two days on 8 hours a day of work. If this headset is not economical for you then please take a look at the 75 evlove. The difference is the mic, the 85 is better for best clarity for every call, on the 75 certain calls clients would tell me your not coming in clear on the 85, I have yet to have a client say otherwise. Pros: Mic Battery Comfort for long period of use Cons: Price Noise cancelation should be better based quality for the price 5

[1x USB-C] I was looking for a headset/microphone combo that had good sound, was hard-wired for reliability and had a good microphone. I like over the ear and not on the ear. The on the ears ones start to hurt after a while because they press my ear on the temple of my reading glasses, these over the ear ones don't have that issue. So they seem well made, work great, comfortable, look good and come from a well known company. Perfect. 5
