The XIO NET Network Monitoring & Management Interface Card from Gra-Vue is based on the XIO series of high-performance video/audio processing platforms. It can be used for real-time monitoring and control of the parameters of the XIO 1U and 3U Modular Platforms, and provides their state information. The XIO modular processing platforms allow for high-end signal processing, including 3G/HD/SD-SDI, and conversion, display, and distribution of signals, etc.

The network monitoring control card provides an external sync reference signal that is used as a global clock to sync all the other modules inside the XIO platform to achieve frame synchronization, and allow support for CVBS and tri-level sync signal.

The card allows for Ethernet management via an RJ-45 interface. It also enables support for SNMP to allow for remote monitoring of Ethernet state information and parameter settings. Hot-restart and reset buttons allow you to counter abnormal/emergency situations. In addition, the card adopts an LED display module to show the IP address of the XIO NET platform.

Q: 1. Does this support RDM?

A: Unfortunately, the DMX-AN2 does not support RDM.

Q: 2. Does this support portrait orientation?

A: there is no mention of support for portrait orientation in the manufacturer specifications

Q: 3. In the specs, it says input formats are 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. I need a quad processor that can handle a 1080p input and three 1024x768 VGA inputs (OK to have HDMI adapters in play but must be able to get 1024x768 4:3 ration video in. Will this work?

A: The MIO MVS-4HDMI will not accept or detect a 1024 x 768 signal. It will only work with the listed inputs.

Q: 4. will it do 1600 by 1200 25p HD-SDI?

A: I'm afraid this does not support 1600x1200 at 25p. It does support 720p at 50/60 along with 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60.

Q: 5. Can a 3-pin connector be converted to 5-pin to control the Nova 600 and Nanlite 500/720?

A: Yes, you can step down from 5-pin DMX to 3-pin DMX with the following adapter cable: the Kopul DMX35PA-S 3-Pin Male to 5-Pin Female DMX Adapter Cable (6"). Some functionality may be lost, but it would be minimal.

Will this unit work as a stand alone analogue to HDMI converter to use to feed a DataVideo HDR-1 mpr recorder maintaining legacy video 4x3 aspect ration with the black bars on the sides of the picture but not black bars above the picture (kind of like a letterbox) without connecting it to a computer or using the Motu's own recorder?

A: No it is not a stand-alone product.

Q: 7. How do you access the quick key to change output resolutions?

A: Settings for the Gra-Vue MIO MVS-4HDMI Mini HDMI Input Multi-Viewer with DVI Output can be changed by navigating to the IP address assigned to the device in a web browser when connected to the same Ethernet network and using the web interface.

A: Yes, this product is compatible with the Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio switcher. It will convert two analog sources into AES, which is the input accepted by the switcher.

[1 x RJ45] I was used to the bigger one and when this came it was just fun to play with. It does the trick if you don't have room in your luggage for the larger one. Its always better to have a larger light surface but in a pinch this helps too. 5

[75 Ω] Big, solid and dependable. Bought it new in 1988, had cold light head, color head for it. Used from 1988-2001. Put it in storage until recently and still works like the day I bought it. Because of the size I gave it away to someone who is just getting into 4x5 film. Very few people are looking for the chassis now, very expensive to ship. Full frame digital has pulled me away from film otherwise I would have found a way to use the enlarger. 5

[15-pin D type] This is one of the best product on the market for outdoor use when time is a factor. When working outdoors and you have no time to set up lights and you need to block out the sun or make the lighting situation even. As a singal crewing cameraman this is one of the best tools to have in your kits....just put the tallent directly into the sun, grab your flexifill and block out the harsh sun and expose for the subject in front of you. 5

[1 x RJ45] Works great when taking photos of people while you're facing the sun. It reflects the sunlight onto their faces and allows greta photos. 5

[15-pin D type] I've had my reflector now for years and it still works great. It's small and compact when folded and I can still handle it pretty well by myself while still shooting. Great white and silver. Just bought one for my assistant as a gift! 5

[1 lb] The Tower was excellent and met my needs. The P/S is OK, but I replaced it to meet the power needs of my GPU. Please note; that the description picture shows duel USB2 and USB3 ports, the text indicates USB2 ports, and the tower I received only had USB3 ports that met my needs so no problem. The tower description does not indicate that there is mounting holes on the bottom for SSDs and that the lower part of the drive rack is removable for long graphic boards, both pluses for me. Shipping was fast for a special order and the packaging was good. I will buy another em013 tower when the need arises. 5

[PAL / NTSC] I needed to convert ethernet to DMX for setting up wireless DMX. The products mostly mentioned in YouTube videos are either discontinued or way more expensive than this product. I took a chance with this but it works perfect and was super easy to configure. I highly recommend this for anyone needing to control DMX from a computer or mobile device. 5
