Panning has never been easier with Energy Panner from Sound Particles, a unique and sophisticated imaging plug-in that lets you add dynamic depth to your productions by allowing some simple settings and the natural intensity of your sounds to govern the panning effect in everything from stereo and surround sound to binaural and Ambisonics. The intuitive visualizer dome lets you view this action in real time, and you can either let the signal intensity choose the pattern for you (Panning Mode) or set a threshold and trajectory yourself (Sliding Mode) for the ultimate control over your sound-field imaging.

When you start running out of ideas, a handy randomization feature lets you change things up for unending creative inspiration. With the external side-chain input function, you can you control your patterns via external signals, so your dynamic panning perfectly matches your production. This plug-in is available in AAX, AU2, AU3, and VST3 formats for Windows and macOS computers.

From stereo, 7.1, and HOA to Binaural and Dolby Atmos, Energy Panner gives you several output options based on virtual microphone technology:

  • Stereo: a stereo render mode of gains based in the channel particle position
  • Stereo (XY): a stereo render mode with a virtual X/Y microphone
  • Stereo (MS): a stereo render mode with a virtual M/S (mid/side) microphone
  • Stereo (Blumlein): a stereo render mode with a virtual Blumlein microphone
  • Binaural: a binaural render based on the SADIE MINP KU100 dataset
  • Ambisonics (ACN/SN3D): an ambisonics render based on the ambisonics input
  • 5.0: a 5.0 VBAP multichannel render
  • 5.1: a 5.1 VBAP multichannel render
  • 7.0: a 7.0 VBAP multichannel render
  • 7.1: a 7.1 VBAP multichannel render
  • 7.0.2: a 7.1.2 VBAP multichannel render
  • 7.1.2: a 7.1.2 VBAP multichannel render

Easily set how the sounds will move. For instance, will they move from the speakers position to the center, or will they move clockwise starting from a custom position? The choice is up to you.

Use external signals to control the effect of the plug-in instead of using the track's sound for this.

Track every single movement the sounds are making through the main component of the plug-in's UI: the dome. Watch as visualizer particles follow your preset paths or their own based on the sound intensity.

Running out of ideas? Don't worry. The Energy Panner has a randomize option that outputs a new result each time you click it.

The Pan mode is essentially normal end-to-end particle-based panning. This type of panning effect changes the position of the sound source between two points (start point to end point) previously defined by you. Therefore, the greater the energy of the input signal the greater the shift from the starting point to the end point.

Whenever the audio signal reaches a certain level (threshold value), the sound source moves on a trajectory that you define. As opposed to pan mode, the sound source does not return to the starting point as soon as the signal level drops. The sound source will freeze that position until the audio signal exceeds the threshold value again, leading to a new shift of the sound source in the dome space.

A: The more ideal way to do this without sending video signal and audio signal to the Panasonic SC-HTB01PP soundbar at the same time, would be to utilize the Optical audio input as opposed to the HDMI Video/Audio input. If your audio is coming out of your headphone output by default for example, you can use an analog to digital converter like B&H # GEATVDA to send only your audio signal to the Panasonic SC-HTB01PP.

Q: 10. How does this fair as a sound bar for a TV in a small 12 x 12 room?

[Download] i am in LOVE with this system. i was wondering when i could review it, and here's my chance. this baby is a dream come true for me. i owned an Onkyo system many years ago (which i loved as well), but Logitech blows it out of the water completely. it's way smaller, sleek and sexy looking... but the sound, oh wow! the sound is absolutely fantastic! i am extremely pleased with my purchase, and i highly recommend this speaker system to anyone looking to get immersed in rich 5.1 surround sound. i have mine hooked up to my PC so that i can also hear my music. the sub-woofer is a force to be reckoned with. holy heck, we're talking floor shaking and windows rattling! yep, no regrets here folks!
