Q: 1. Does it come with capture software? Or do you need to use an old version of Premiere Pro to capture? Can you also set how long it will capture for then stop?

A: It does not come with capture software, but should work on versions of Premiere CS5 or later, as per manufacturer specs. In and out points are not set on this device but should be entered on the software interface being used.

Q: 2. I can use it as a monitor on real 5.1 final cut pro x ?

A: Yes, you can use the HD Express for 5.1 audio monitoring with FCPX.

Q: 3. I read on the MOTU site that this has no support for Premiere CC. Has anyone tested this? will it work as a capture device?

Q: 4. does the hdmi out on the back output signal at the same time the hdmi out to the pci card is used?

A: Yes, the HDMI out port is available at the same time as the connection to the pci card.Thank you for your question.

Q: 5. Is the PCIe HDMI card an HDMI-in ?

Q: 8. I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) with thunderbolt and usb3. Is this product fully functional with a thunderbolt to express card adapter?

A: JMR makes a PCIe to Thunderbolt adapter that will allow you to connect this device to your computer. However its full functionality will depend on the specs of your computer more so than the connection. MacBook Pros tend to be powerful machines, even when they are a few years old, so I do not think there will be any issues.

[24 VDC at 3 A] This was a very easy setup and very easy to figure out and use. We are making ID cards for our fire department and it does way more than we need. Definitely would recommend it to anyone.

[300 dpi] I've been selling and installing both the RF only and RF+IP models of the ZVPRO since 2015. We had one power supply fail in that time frame. That unit was in a less than ideal location being bombarded with construction dust. The customer also had daisy chained power strips which I'm sure didn't help.

That's it. We've had no other issues. All these units are still in service.

[CR-80] Almost any camcorder produced before 2018 doesn't have NDI capabilities but with the addition of the Birddog Mini, you can make a leap into the world of networked video without any heavy lifting.

Excellent choice for any church or school that needs to stream video but doesn't want to incur the cost of wiring for video. Any HDMI source can be plugged into the Mini and using a local network, connected to a computer with a streaming application such as vMix or OBS. No capture card necessary - it just works.

This is a device that needs to be in the toolbox of any serious videographer.

[24 VDC at 3 A] This printer was easy to set up and the quality of the prints are excellent - better than my expectations. I have not used the included software, I am exclusively printing predesigned cards from PDF files, but I've been fully satisfied. I'm printing relatively low volumes, so the fact that each card has to be individually fed into the unit isn't an issue and I appreciate the printer's compact size. If you're looking to print higher volumes of cards I might recommend a larger model with a feeder. I've also used this printer with the mono black ribbon and it works great as well.

[300 dpi] We use it at our school for live streaming to YouTube while simultaneous archiving to a network share. It is very easy to use and never let us down. Looking forward to the G2 version as it will eliminate the ipad that we currently use for starting and stopping the streams.
