Based on the XIO platform, the Gra-Vue XIO 9000VSD-HD 1 x 7 HD/SD-SDI/ASI Signal Distribution Amplifier distributes 1 HD/SD-SDI signal to 7 outputs with re-clocking. It is used as a modular component in the XIO 1U and 3U Modular Platform Chassis (sold separately). This amplifier supports HD/SD-SDI input signals with embedded audio and automatic input detection of 525i 60, 625i 50, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and 1080psf formats. It also supports processing and distribution of ASI signals.

The XIO 9000VSD-HD Distribution Amplifier provides automatic signal equalization and re-clocking for long cable applications. This improves the signal quality and reduces signal loss caused due to long distance transmission of the input source. The LED lights on the module indicate the status of input signals and power supply, to let you know the signal status immediately. The distribution amplifier also supports SNMP and can be real-time managed and monitored via the XIO NET Network Management Module (sold separately) via Ethernet.

A: The manufacturer does not list 1080p, only 1080i comparability.

A: We’re afraid not. It has an A/B switch to select with SDI input you use for the outputs of the DA. You cannot split it out in that way.

Q: 3. will it do 1600 by 1200 25p HD-SDI?

A: I'm afraid this does not support 1600x1200 at 25p. It does support 720p at 50/60 along with 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60.

Q: 4. Muist the output match the input, or are there options to change it? For example, the input would be 1080P 25pfs, but I want the output to be 1080i 60 fps.

A: This input and output will have to match. This product is not a frame rate and standards converter.

Q: 5. what is voltage amplification per channel?

A: The power consumption of the unit is listed as Power Consumption12 VDC, 1.5 A. Unfortunately, Gar-Vue doe not list the voltage amplification per channel.

Q: 6. Hi, Is there any information about the video latency ?

A: A latency specification is not published, but we expect it to be negligible since this is product is designed for broadcast use,.

[75 Ω] I bought this to replace a dying switch. It is everything I hoped it would be. It solved three separate troubles we had with power switching on end devices. Device on or off caused Mac to loose its display config. The switch blocks the signal with EDID. Will definitely consider Kramer for future needs. 5

[75 Ω] This pushes HDMI signal just right for me. Had two 100' runs for this to 2 monitors with no artifacts or loss of color or clarity. It had a 100' run from the switcher so 200' no issues. Perfect little box and man are they pricey though for 1x2. 5

[2 to 3 W] This unit is truly plug and play. I am using this in a medium sized conference room to split video between two Epson 1080p projectors. One run is going 90' using 60' & 30' Redmere cables with a coupler. The other is going 50' with a Redmere cable. Inline before this unit I have a 4 way HDMI auto switch that goes to wall HDMI plugs for source selection. So, the signal is passing through multiple long HDMI cables (all Redmere) and couplers before it gets to this unit. I had tried a cheap $ HDMI splitter which didn't have the power to pass both signals. This unit has the power and just works. 5
