  • High-performance standard extender: the extender provides extended-reach signals over twisted-pair copper infrastructures and can be connected to any market-available HDBaseT-compliant extension product. For optimum extension reach and performance, use recommended Kramer cables.
  • Bidirectional PoE (Power over Ethernet): the unit auto-senses the extension line PoE status and either provides power to a remote PoE acceptor such as a PoE wall plate, or it accepts power from a remote PoE provider such as a PoE matrix.
  • HDMI signal extension: HDCP 2.3, EDID, and CEC signals are passed through from the source to the display.
  • HDMI support: the unit supports HDR10, deep color, x.v.Color, HDMI uncompressed audio channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS–HD, 2K, 4K, and 3D as specified in HDMI 2.0.
  • Flexible USB 2.0 extension: an active USB host is connected at either the transmitter or receiver sides of the extension line. USB 2.0 signals are extended between the extender transmitter and receiver sides, enabling connection of the active USB host to both local and remote USB devices, such as camera and audio devices, or HID (Human Interface Devices) mouse or keyboard devices.
  • I-EDIDPro Kramer intelligent EDID processing: intelligent EDID handling, processing, and pass-through algorithm that ensures plug and play operation for HDMI source and display systems.
  •  Multi-channel audio transmission: up to 32 channels of digital stereo uncompressed signals for supporting studio-grade surround sound.
  • Ethernet extension: Ethernet interface data flows in both directions, allowing extension of up to 1 Gb/s Ethernet connectivity for LAN communication and device control.
  • Bidirectional RS-232 extension: serial interface data flows in both directions, allowing data transmission and device control.
  • Bidirectional infrared extension: IR interface data flows in both directions, allowing remote control of peripheral devices located at either end of the extended line.
  • Cost-effective maintenance: status LED indicators for HDMI, HDBaseT, USB active host ports, and PoE, providing status facilitate easy local maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Easy and elegant installation: megaTOOLS fan-less enclosure for dropped0ceiling mounting, or side-by-side mounting of two units in a 1 RU space with the recommended rack adapter.

[Yes, HDR10] Our needs were basic: run a 75' HDMI cable from a 4K TV to a conference table. TV - Kramer Fiber HDMI - Keystone connector in conference table - copper HDMI to laptop. This worked with a 1080p signal, but not 4k.

The repeater solved our problems. We now have the following and it works flawlessly:TV - Kramer Fiber HDMI - Repeater in floor box - 6' copper HDMI - Keystone connector in conference table - copper HDMI to laptop.

The biggest con is the size of the power brick. Surely Kramer could source a smaller 5v power adapter.

[PoE+ 802.3at] I tried other adapters from the local box stores but had issues with connectivity and info transfer. Used the ATEN adapter and all issues were gone. B & H supplied us with the best adapter at a very good price.

[Auto-Detect] In remodeling my home, I wanted to synchronize one pair of TVs (Master Bedroom and Master Bath) and one triple of TVs (Kitchen, Family Room and Sun Room) to eliminate audio echoing between connected rooms. Each group is fed by the HDMI output of one cable box. I was told by my local A/V company that this was risky because of the +60 cabling distances required and the load on the cable boxes. I installed one Kramer 1:2 Distribution Amplifier and one Kramer 1:3 Distribution Amplifier. Cable runs were in made in-wall using 3 Kramer 66 Optical HDMI cables. Results? Perfection!
