[Yes, 2x 1 W] everything works just like a702 bright but this monitor is a bit more robust. its 500nit brighter than my old 702. don't have to use a dummy battery anymore. just plug in the barrel power cable and go. this is my second monitor. upgraded to a 702 touch as my main camera monitor and liked it so much that i bout it as my second monitor for a directors cage with a teradek. its sharp and bright. ran it for 12hour and never shut it off all day shoot and it was warm out with no problems. th monitor does get warm but nothing extreme. still waiting to use it mid summer in the heat. but until then this is my favorite monitor under $1500.

[Edge-Lit LED] Bright enough for outdoor use, beautiful image, fantastic assist features (I love the pages interface) SDI and HDMI passthrough, tons of accessories...hard to beat! It is kinda pricey, but it's so versatile and I use it on every single production, both as an on-camera monitor and as a director's monitor.

[32 GB eMMC] SmallHD knocked it out of the park with this monitor. It is pricey, but it is well worth it if you are paid for your work.

My 701 lite died last Summer on a hot day of shooting. SmallHD discontinued it, so there were no more options for repair. They did offer a credit for the old monitor.

I wasn't trying to invest too much equipment at the time as I had invested a lot in the previous year. However, a monitor is so crucial to my work.

The monitor went on sale for around $1200, and I decided to bite the bullet. It was one of the best decisions I made last year.

It is packaged well and includes a premium glass screen protector and a cleaning cloth. The PageOS software is so intuitive to use. The monitor comes calibrated and matches exactly what you see when you pass your footage to an editor or edit your work. There's nothing like knowing you got your shot before ending the shoot.

The monitor is also very light. It has a unibody aluminum chassis, which means you can attach it to pretty much any camera.

You can't beat this monitor for the value

[2-Channel] Yeah, this monitor is not cheap as all SmallHD products, but it’s worth the money if you are in a state of your career needing something reliable and for “pro” film sets as a DoP or 1st AC pulling focus. PageOS is the best software a monitor can have for customize the experience based on focus only on what I need on set a the time and also the possibility to create multiple pages for different film scenarios from framing to exposure. Also the possibility of making profiles and save up to an SD card, loading into another monitors from rental houses is a great bonus. Finally I can say the panel is bright but also most important, super sharp compared to a lot of monitors on the market. I would say I can pull focus with this monitor without any focus assist or peaking sometimes because of the sharpness but the tools for focus pulling are the best. People on set always love see the image from this screen and obviously from another SmallHD monitor.

[Yes] I've owned a 701 lite and 702 bright. They don't come even close to the 702 Touch. So I think the 702 name is misleading. They put everything you need in this and it's bright enough for shooting in daylight. This is definitely worth the investment.
