Expand the storage of your system with the Sabrent 4-Drive NVMe M.2 SSD PCIe 4.0 x 16 Bifurcation Adapter Card. Allowing you to scale your system's storage to your needs, the adapter card is ideal for content creators and editors who need more room for their important assets.

Equipped with four M.2 slots, you can easily install a wide range of 2230, 2242, 2260, and 2280 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs, expanding the space and leveraging multiple storage modes with PCIe bifurcation functionality. PCIe 4.0 x16 interface allows you to quickly transfer data to and from the drives which supports various RAID configurations including Intel VROC, AMDS Ryzen NVMe RAID, and more. An array of thermal pads, an aluminum heatsink, and an integrated fan work together to help dissipate heat away from the drives for long-lasting performance free from thermal throttling. All the necessary hardware you need to fully kit out your adapter card is included, easing the installation process. The adapter card can be used in systems running Windows 8.1 or later.

Add up to four high-performance NVMe SSDs to a system with a single adapter in a physical x16 PCIe slot with the Quad NVMe SSD to PCIe 4.0 x16 Card. The system requires the PCIe bifurcation (lane splitting) function to add more than one SSD with the full 16 lanes required for 3 or 4 drives.

Supports even the fastest PCIe 4.0 SSDs but also works with older and newer generation SSDs at up to 4.0 speeds. Works in older 3.0/2.0 systems that have PCIe bifurcation support.

The card is plug and play with no drivers required. Supports Intel VROC and AMD Ryzen NVMe RAID with their respective limitations. Drives may be operated individually or in software and UEFI RAID which includes Windows Storage Spaces.

[Full Height] This is one of those peripheral accessories that does exactly what it claims to do with no excuses. Manufacture quality is high. I expect it will last longer than the useful lifespan of the computer. Samsung Magician software recognizes it as a NVME SSD the same as the ones in motherboard sockets. There's no measurable difference in data read/write speeds. It doesn't fit in a PCIe X 1 slot, so you will need at least a X4 slot available.

[1x Fan] A hard drive died in my aging desktop, and I figured I'd replace it with a modern NVMe SSD. Of course my old motherboard doesn't have M.2 slots, so I decided to try this adapter. My motherboard is from an era before NVMe's existed (Ivy Bridge CPU), so there was some concern for compatibility. Luckily, everything worked seamlessly! The heatsink is a bit gimmicky; considering the included thermal pad and that my SSD had some cover on top of its chips, I'm dubious about the actual heat transfer. Regardless, things seem to be running cool and smooth!
