The blue and black Leatherman Raptor Rescue Shears Blue Black Utility Sheathhas six tools designed for first responders, EMTs, fire professionals, tactical field medical personnel, or anyone interested in emergency preparedness. These medical-style shears fold into a compact form factor to make it easier to store and carry and are made of high-strength 420HC stainless steel. As with any Leatherman tool, this is a multi-tasker with the addition of a strap cutter for seat belts, a ring cutter to quickly remove wedding bands or other rings that are stuck due to swelling, an oxygen tank wrench, a carbide glass breaker, and a 2" ruler on one of the shear blades.

The included holster will carry the shears open or folded, depending on your preference. Additionally, with a simple adjustment, you can set the draw angle of the shears, so you can pull it out at different angles based on where you are carrying it for easier and faster use.

[0.68 lb] I have never been disappointed with any Leatherman product. The Raptor Shears are perfection. I carry them in my truck clipped in the door pocket. I hope I never need them in an emergency but if I do they can perform many emergency functions and will perform them very well I am certain. Note-There is an advertisement that appears on Facebook showing the Leatherman Raptor Shears for $29. It is a bate and switch scam. Don't fall for it. I purchased my Raptor Shears from B&H Photo in NY City on line. Very fast service and reasonable price. 5

[0.68 lb] Made in the USA, folding into a relatively compact size for pocket storage, and with a variety of useful tools for Fire/EMS work. These are hands down my favorite trauma shears, and shears that I have purchased several times as gifts for coworkers or family in the Fire/EMS industry. I use these shears multiple times a week, and get the most usage out of the shears themselves, the seatbelt cutter, and the ring cutter. The seatbelt cutter doubles as an excellent box opener, and the ring cutter functions great for cutting zipties and other tough, small, band-like objects. The seatbelt cutter does work spectacularly on seatbelts, you just have to be pulling the belt itself taught in order for it to cut through. By far the best tool on these shears is the O2 key. I, fortunately, have not used it frequently - but it has absolutely saved my bacon on scenes more than a few times when we need O2 and the bottle doesn't have the lever riveted in to open it. These are excellent shears with a lengthy warranty for repair or replacement. Buy these with confidence and expect them to last you a career so long as you show them a bit of care. 5
