If used in a 4:3 aspect ratio, this lens has a 1.62-2.5:1 throw ratio. To fill a 20' wide 4:3 screen, the distance would be 32.4 to 50'.

[Zoom] We were looking at a challenge with a very large screen image and a very short throw. This lens allowed us to go from a 40’ - 50’ front projection to a 5.5’ Rear throw solution. I had to see it to believe it, and I was not disappointed. Panasonic does not disappoint! Well done!!! 5

[Zoom] We use our projector in a dusty environment, these filters are expensive but they stand up to cleaning with water and can be reused many many times- all in all I like this much better than the paper throwaways or the foamys. Upon teardown the critical parts of the projector were shockingly clean, although gnats got in through other gaps, at least the projector was dust free, I didn't expect that. 5
